A list of puns related to "Bachelor of Veterinary Science"
I'm attempting Neet this year. I can not find any reliable source for this so I am posting this here.
Hey all! I recently received an offer for vet at UQ after 4 years of trying to get in. I've made the decision to defer, as I think I should have a break and travel around Australia (have never done before).
I'm wondering, will I be older than most in the cohort as a 24/25yo next year? I'm starting to worry more and more about graduating late (29), and thinking I should call qtac to change my choice.
Hey, I'm an aspiring vet, and I have a few questions that I want some candid and honest opinions on.
- How competitive is the course, actually? How good do my grades have to be?
- How are the teachers and facilities at USyd? Do they make teaching effective?
- How much contact with exotic animals do you get?
- What is the area like? Does the university itself have a lot of spirit?
Thanks so much :)
I am planning on going to community college for my associate of engineering science. I wanted to know if anyone else has gone this route successfully. And if it was difficult to find a college to finish the remaining 2 years?
For context, I'm a hs senior and I applied for a BA in CS bc I'm interested in doing a double major with applied math, and I heard that I couldn't do that if I applied for EECS. Also, I've been coding for about 5 years and have developed and deployed multiple products that are being used by companies and universities and I breezed through the AP Computer Science and AP Calculus tests and have finished multivariable calculus. Also, I do know some data structures and some algorithms.
However, I've heard about how daunting it is to get a BA in CS at Berkeley because of CS 61A, 61B, and 70, so should I be worried given my background?
Hello and Happy Holidays!
Im kind of stuck on the degree I want to get. Im staying with the same area of study though in Computer Science.
I finished my first semester with over 100% in all my classes. I am doing all my Gen Ed classes at a community College until fall next year which I will be transferring to university so I can get my minor in Japanese and study abroad (hopefully if covid doesn't screw anything up).
Thing is though, im not math savvy or no where near as smart enough to pass Calculus 2, which is a requirement for the Bachelors of Science in CS. I also don't know what specific CS job I want and I heard a Bachelors of Arts in CS is great if you don't know what you want to do for a career in CS.
And of course the Bachelors of Science in CS is a part of STEM and your pretty much guaranteed a job and paid internship. For the university I will be transferring to, 98% of those in BS in CS have a job after graduating, while 94% of those in BA in CS have a job after graduating. The starting and overall pay for a BS in CS is better than BA in CS.
So I've been thinking of changing my degree from a Bachelors of Science to a Bachelors of Arts. Is that in any way a bad idea besides being a slightly less possibility of getting a job or better pay?
I have been learning to web development and mobile development for the past 2 years online via many different routes. I am really interested in a deeper understanding of how programs work. How algos work, architecture, speed, best practices, and anything else id need to learn to be able to build programs and algos from scratch.
i have been looking at online colleges that are roughly around 40k for a 4 year bachelors degree in CS.
I know there are CS50 courses through MIT that are free online but i think thats just for foundational knowledge, is there a bachelors equivalent amount of knowledge online that anyone can learn without having to pay for college?
Hello I am going to transferring from community college to university within the next year. I have calc 1 calc 2 and calc 3 and physics 2 left to take to finish my pre reqs for a BS program. Iβm not really fond of math. I know I could do it tho if I applied myself. My question is do employers look down upon a Bachelor of Arts in computer science. A part of me wants the BS because I think the courses are more rigorous but Iβm not sure. For anyone in the tech field does it matter which on you get?
Context, I want to study biology in some capacity but specifically Fisheries and wildlife but I donβt know if it can actually getting me a foot in the door in the field. Long term I would like to work in the field in after I get my bachelors to see if I would get a masters? Can I even get a decent job with a bachelors in Fisheries and Wildlife?
Hi everyone! I have couple questions I would really appreciate it if you take some time answering them. 1. What can I do with my civil Engineering degree as an officer in Air Force? 2. I honestly donβt have any work experience other than Uber, Lyft, and DoorDash. Iβm so nervous about going through and possibly failing the Selection Board because Iβm already 30 years old and I wanna start a career already. My second question is will my officer application be reviewed by the Selection Board or the Air Force Recruiting Service?
I just finished year 12 and have the required ATAR.
Basically, i studied mostly science subjects as i enjoy this field. However, i donβt have a specific idea on what job i want to do.
I have thought about studying in the area of chemistry, or perhaps doing physiotherapy but as an 18 year old itβs too difficult to know what i want for sure. Plus i got a 93 and physio at la trobe asks for 96 (and i didnβt have a very compelling SEAS).
What are your opinions on doing a bachelor of science and hopefully gaining an insight into the different areas. Then once the 3 year course is done i move on to do a doctorate (additional 3 years) in an area that i now (hopefully) know i want to study.
Will 6 years at melbourne uni kill me? Will i have free time or will it be year 12 all over again? Is there a better approach other than this one? Will i be in massive fucking debt?
Thanks.
Itβs something Iβm considering doing and was wondering if anyone else on this sub has done something similar. Also if anyone want to suggest or share experiences about good/bad masters degrees (or careers) please do!
Iβm currently working as a field tech for an environmental engineering firm and am look at options to help my career.
Edit: thanks for the input guys! I also would like to know would if anyone has gotten their masters through online courses?
I am currently working on a bachelors of science in biology and have one more semester to go. Iβve been in college for 6 years because Iβve changed my major once to nursing and it didnβt work out for me and it knocked me off track for 2 years. Iβve gotten quite burned out from college and I chose a bachelors in biology because it went along with my associates of science that I got in community college and didnβt require starting all over again to get it. Iβve been hoping to get a job somewhere maybe in a lab. If i canβt, I plan to go to MLT school. But Iβm kind of desperate to get a full time job soon and am tired of doing school and working crappy jobs with barely any money. But I worry because I hear a lot of people who have a lot of trouble getting jobs with a BS in Biology.
I want to do data sciences in the future as itβs extremely demanding. I have some questions over the university and what requirements they need.
Should I take 8 hours of math during my 2 years left if Iβm only required a pass on my 5 hours of math baccalaureate?
What languages should I learn? I am studying python and since I still have time until university I was wondering if Java could help?
How hard is getting in and how hard is continuing without having to repeat a year?
How many reports does they university want to see?
Do they care about other subjects such as English or Physics when they look at your report? If so, what grades should I be aiming towards?
Iβm doing an EB so they only want maths 5 from me but I am doing my baccalaureate in Physics as well as economics and maybe 8 hours of math.
Thanks for the help!!

I am 24 [M] and did my 12th grade in 2015 in India. I moved to Canada in 2016, I did a 2-year Mechanical Engineering diploma, I could not afford the degree program because I was International Student and my fees were 3x more. Now have recently got my Citizenship and I can just afford a degree program. I won't need to ask for money but I won't have any money either. But I am OK with simple and minimalistic life without cars and luxury.
My original plan was to continue Mechanical Engineering as I can do apprenticeship for license and will get paid alongside and will also get the red seal. But now I am into programming, studying at home for one year and really really enjoy it and thinking to do Bachelor in Computer Science from a University.

I am really interested in tech and pretty much all domains of science and feel really good about it. I rarely watch any other stuff than documentaries and nonfiction. I can't wait to come home from my job and open my laptop to either watch the above content or start programming.
Please, help me to see things clearly and try to correct me I am overthinking or misunderstanding something.

Is anyone here doing either (or both) of the above degrees? If so:
What was your overall experience doing either of these degrees?
Thanks in advance
I'm stumped right now because I didn't think I'd have to make a choice. Is Macquarie all that better than Western? I have a couple close friends and my cousin that I'm close with that are all going to w Western and Id hate to be alone at Macquarie, but realistically what would the difference be in studying med science in WSU vs at Macquarie?
I have a diploma and can get a bachelor with 2 more years of school, but after working in a development job all summer, I'm finding it pretty difficult to give a shit about university classes.
I've heard that a bachelor wont get you very far without a decent portfolio and have met a lot of CompSci students that are horrible programmers. So if I already have work lined up, is it really worth it?
Just curious as to what the difference is and if there are any advantages or disadvantages to picking one or the other.
Hello. I am an international student about to start a Bachelor of Computer Science from the 2nd year onwards. Transferred from Monash College with full credits. I was wondering if I can do a professional placement and if I had to switch to a professional degree. If so would my scholarship carry over to this professional degree?
Iβve been going to college since 2015, in between then and now, I joined the Air Force, got married, had a baby, got divorced, bought a house, fell in love, got a dog, and medically retired from the Air Force.
No way at all did I think it would take me this long, but itβs been a hell of a journey and I wouldnβt change a thing tbh. Everything that Iβve gone through has made me the person I am, and I love myself so much.
Hopefully 2022 is the year I beat my personal demons, and obtain what I need for my soul.
But I am beyond happy to be obtaining this goal that I have been working toward for almost 7 years.
Thanks for reading π
I came to Canada as an International student and did 'Health, Wellness & Fitness' diploma at Mohawk College, realized its not for me but had to finish for immigration purposes. Given how expensive it is for intl students out here, decided to wait till i get my permanent resident status(which i did last week). Now i want to pursue my interests. In High school I took arts and also took 'informatics practices' but thats pretty much it. Any chances I get in? or similar experiences?
Hey All, firstly I hope the flair is correct because I couldn't find one that seemed more accurate. Anyway -
I'm 28 and want to go into engineering, but I've been out of any kind of academic environment for years and have no relevant background skills for this. So before I can really get into it, I need to learn the required basics in mathematics, physics and possibly chemistry and/or biology.
My question is, would a good way to be properly prepared to apply for a bachelor of science, take basic units for the above mentioned subjects, and then transfer into an engineering degree?
Hello guys I am planning to do a bachelor in Computer Science and later a master. Do you guys think university of mauritius is the best? Is it recognised worldwide? Is middlesex worth it? Let me know your opinions. Thanks
Hello I got 89.4%(cbse) predicted marks for grade 12 and i scored 90%(icse) in 10th wat are the chances of me getting into bachelors of computer science?
