A list of puns related to "BT discography"
Is it just me or does bts have one of the best discography? I have heard the whole discography and have yet to find a single song that I dont like as much, or mark as a ‘skip’. All the songs are just so perfectly unique in itself but also fit right in with the particular concept of the album. You can feel that an extreme amount of thought and care has gone into them. Now, I have no idea about other groups because I got into kpop recently, but as compared to the western artists I was listening to to before getting into bts, I just find that no one is doing it like they are right now. Even ptd, a song that i was wary of in the beginning, is one of the most played songs in my playlist now thanks to all those perfect live performances.
Also, i am in love with each and every song from all the members’ mixtapes as well as all the soundcloud releases! I wonder if this is due to the extremely lovable personalities of the members itself that just makes me love everything they put out (lmao jk), but this just makes me marvel at the amount of talent and perseverence the members have, even after achieving all these heights, everyone has an extremely disciplined work ethic and are just so fricking good at the art they produce!
In the end i am just left wondering why i didnt stan earlier! I couldve not wasted my time on countless western one-hit womder artists who are not this serious and responsible musicians. BTS definitely deserve each and every thing coming their way, and more! Absolutely in love with all of them, a little more in love with ma boi RM💕
Hello! Thank you to everyone who has filled out the discography ranking survey so far. This is a reminder that the survey closes in 1 week on January 15 at 11:59 pm EST. The results will be posted within 24 hours of the deadline.
It is a survey where you can rate every BTS song (some exceptions, see FAQ below) from 1-10. The ratings for each song will be averaged and then ranked from 1 to 298, which is the number of songs in the survey this year. The average ratings will also be used to make album rankings, collaborations rankings, etc. For an idea of what this will look like, here are last year’s results.
My reasons
i've been reading how there is definitely a resemblance between enha's charisma and bts' dancing in their past choreo danger/ boy with luv era and this leads me to some investigation. another thing i noticed is that enha's concept with the girl involved in drunk-dazed, reminded me of bts' boy with luv mv that involves falling in love with a girl. from there i uraveled how enha's high school universe is very similar to bts' past trilogy which is called *drum rolls* the school trilogy. there's definitely a parallel in their universe, hybe is a mastermind in these universe stuff. i just think that this is not a coincidence lol
It can include Japanese albums and repackages! And yes it was supposed to say 8-14, stop judging me.
It’s so hard to put into words how much I adore this song, but I’ll try to explain why I think it's the best.
The best thing about HOME is that it’s an R&B-inspired song, and I firmly believe that the genre BTS does best is R&B. It's honestly just a perfect medium for both the rap line and the vocal line; the artistry, talent, and cohesion as a group really comes through in their R&B music.
HOME is a prime example of that perfect cohesion. Every element of this song blends well, serves a purpose, and adds layers of interest. It's not easily done in a group with 7 people, but each member has their own defining/special moment:
The lyrics are beautiful as well. Based on what I’ve gathered from the English translation, this track is about leaving home in pursuit of your big dreams, being dissatisfied with the materialism that comes along with your achievements, and ultimately finding a new home in the person (or people) you love. It’s a track dedicated to the fans, but it doesn’t feel cheesy at all because the lyrics could apply to friendship or romantic love.
HOME is really special to me personally because BTS is what got me interested in kpop a few years ago. There was a point in time when they were the only group that I listened to, and this song in particular is linked to good memories of mine. So now that I’ve grown to have more variety with the kpop artists I listen to, listening to BTS truly does feel like coming back home.
According to Google, they have over 250+ songs… 🧍♀️ it surprises me that I can name them all-
If you’re a debut/pre-debut fan then it must’ve been easier but for baby armys or if you’ve been a fan for like a couple more years then how long did it take?
I can’t give a definite answer since I’ve been an army since LY:A. But I think it was about 1-2 months for me(since 2018 ofc now bts have so much more)? Where I can name all of their songs and know which song is from which album (including their songs from SoundCloud and that also includes their covers/solos/mixtapes)
The way I got to know their entire discography is by watching all of their mvs first, and then I listened to one album per day/week.
If you’re a baby army and haven’t listened to all of their songs but want to, good luck! :D
Disclaimer: you don’t have to know all of their songs by memory, it doesn’t make you any less of an army if you don’t. Just have fun and enjoy the journey lol. (I can assure you that even the boys forget their own songs)
Hi guys,
Resubmitted with a better title lol.
Edit: to include original text from post
This is for anyone who is just a little particular with the listening and audio quality experience when listening to music. I just bought my first pair of sennheiser over the ear headphones to replace my beats I’ve had for years. And omg I’m gonna have to spend some time listening to all of the discography over again because wooooow, the difference is so apparent to me.
Anyway, my big question is what is everyone’s favorite way to immerse themselves in the audio and to best listen? Do you prefer a full stereo system? Headphones? Car?
Would love to hear how everyone enjoys the music and what sticks out most to you or you hear differently?
For example, noticed that there really is just too much bass and not enough treble in the beats headphones so when listening on the sennheisers everything sounds more lively, light and crisp.
From the songs I’ve heard so far, everything sounds just a bit livelier and easier to hear. So what’s everyone’s favorite way to enjoy our boys’ music?

Hey, I'm back with bts. This time I wanted to do a poll on their solo releases. Generally speaking when ever bts discography comes into discussion I see less to no talk about their solo projects. I mean yeah these r solo projects nd that's why people don't include them in discussions.
But u gotta understand these mixtapes r just music released seperately by members that's it. These aren't the official solo debuts of members where they promote in music shows etc. So, I feel like we need to include these also into discussions.
So, pick ur fave solo mixtape released by the rap line, one which u go back to listen frequently. Also, this poll is about what's ur fave mixtape, not about which mixtape has heavier member production involvement or how deep the lyrics r.
It's just about what u like nd not a popularity or sentimental contest. Comment below ur pick nd rank them, it's more fun that way.
So, before I actually get into this, I'd like to explain a few things about, well, all of it.
Tl;dr at the bottom
So, first of all, I thought it could be fun to rank every single one of BTS's songs (no solo songs that aren't on an album, pre-debut, skits, or other language versions of the same song though. I also used a bit of discretion on what intros and outros I ranked) on a letter system from S to F, and then get an average to decide the grade their discography as a whole gets. So, in short, I listened to all of their songs, assigned them a number from 1-6 (with a max of 3 songs earning a 0 for excellence, and technically a max of 3 earning a 7 for being abhorrent but that never happened). So, just for quick reference:
S-1
A-2
B-3
C-4
D-5
F-6
I only accept whole numbers, so the total will be rounded to the nearest whole digit. So let's say the average was a 4.8, then I will be giving it a rating of D. Also, S is exceptional, A is great, B is good, C is just a song, D is bad, and F is terrible.
Disclaimer: The more songs a group has, the more likely they are to be around B-D ratings, hovering mainly around C for the standard group. A good group can expect a B, an A is only the best of groups (like MAYBE one group or two will earn that with a reasonably sized discography), and an S means you don't have many songs. No group can pull off a 1.4+ average with more than one or two albums put out, it's just not gonna happen. Without further ado, let's get into it.
I ranked 133 BTS songs, about 6 and a half hours of listening time, and assigned a numerical ranking for every single one of them. But before I give you the final grade, I'd like to discuss each album and a few thoughts about it, as well as my views on the biggest strengths and weaknesses of BTS musically.
2 Cool 4 Skool
This album functionally has 3 songs, of which I actually like all of them. Nothing to spectacular here, not a very good album overall (3 songs isn't much) but what it does have is pretty good. Not too bad as an opening.
O!RUL8,2?
As well as being the cringiest fucking album name I have ever seen, this is definitely BTS's weakest album overall. Having 8 songs (more tracks, but 8 songs), I only really enjoy 3 of them, and while I do quite enjoy one of them in particular (Paldogangsan is fire) the rest are meh? Oh, and N.O is easily their weakest title track. Not a good album overall, but luckily, this is their last t
... keep reading on reddit ➡I'm honestly tired of seeing these comments. Their discography is as nice as before. By the way, Stay Gold is one of my favorite songs of all times.
I think people just saw a ballad song as a title track and than summed up their last releases to it, but if you listen to their b-sides, you'll see the same quality of content. I'm not saying Life Goes On is a bad song, but I think Telepathy could be the title instead. However, I know this comeback was more of a gift to ARMYs, that's why they didn't something so powerful and shocking. And I'll not even talk about 7 trilogy because it's just amazing and I would take hours talking about it, I love all the songs.
BTS is going through a more mature phase, I don't even think if they'll ever comeback with something like Mic Drop or Not Today or ON sooner (but who knows, right?), and we should all realise not all artists want to do the same thing ove and over again for their whole careers.
So basically, I just wanted to appreciate their last releases, all bops to me. (Ok...... maybe Dynamite is an exception 🤫 sorryy, but I'm happy because of their achievements with it).
P.S.: I know this is a popular opinion inside the fandom, but for the kpop community in a whole I don't think so. Thanks for reading, be respectful bellow and have a good day/night ♥︎.
I know, the audacity. But alas, I am asking.
This isn't about which song you like least, but more about which songs you don't think fit into the larger narratives that BTS has crafted with each era or project. It can also be about which songs didn't resonate with you as much compared to others.
This is NOT a discussion about:
Remember, there are no wrong answers here and we should be respectful of everyone's opinion (but a little light-hearted shade is not out of bounds).
Please provide a few sentences on your choice to show your thinking as well.
Thanks and play nice!
Hey guys, it's been some time since my last post. Anyway I'm back nd this time I'm bringing one of my favourite eras of whole kpop. THE HYYH ERA.
For those people who don't know, as a means of me knowing what people prefer, I make these polls so I get to know ur personal tastes nd whether my pick is underrated or is chosen by others.
I think by now, we can agree that HYYH is a legendary era. I've seen soo much praise for this era from both fans, non fans nd in general kpop fans. The music released during this era was something u had to experience at that time.
So as always go by ur feeling. This poll isn't about which song had better lyrics or which song is produced by members or which song charted better. It is about which song u prefer. I believe this will be hard coz all these songs r A+. So if u don't know what to pick then just go by which song u gravitate more towards.
Comment below ur pick nd rank these songs. Let's have a fun discussion.
Embarrassed from Dark & Wild. Everything about this song is chef’s kiss ! The production, the vocals, the rap... ahhh. Gonna patiently wait for the day BTS makes music like this again. But until then, you can catch me here. Embarrassed on Spotify
What’s your favorite BTS songs from their older discography and why?
I got this idea from another post of mine, so i wanted to do this for bts too coz next to shinee their discography is another which I respect nd treasure a lot. One thing I recently always observe is that the past music of bts is not discussed too often. So this post will raise the discussion.
Don't think objectively or anything like that. Just go with ur feeling, like that even u urself will get to know which song u gravitate more towards. Also comment below why u voted for that.
Also expect one for shinee soon
This is Part 2 of the BTS Discography Series which I started coz I was curious on what people prefer now after many years of listening to the tracks. Part 1 is about title tracks odf the albums in skool trilogy. If u haven't voted for that go to my profile, there ull find it.
Like always this isn't about which track is objectively better, which track has good lyrics nd composition nd all that shit. Just which track do u prefer nd gravitate more towards. Doesn't matter if the track is controversial nd all that. If u enjoy the song, vote for it.
Comment below ur votes nd reasons
It’s approaching the New Year (at least where I am) and just reminiscing on the musical content BTS has released this year, both unofficially and officially.
There’s just something about the songs they release on SoundCloud that feel a little bit more intimate than official songs. I love it. Also loved how vocal line all came out with solo songs this year. Jungkook’s first individually released solo Still With You, Jin’s Abyss, Jimin’s Christmas Love, and V’s Snow Flower ft. Peakboy. All such amazing songs. I’m really glad those 4 are continuing to grow more and more musically.
Also we have other masterpieces previously released like rap line’s Ddaeng, Suga’s So Far Away ft. Jin and Jungkook, V and RM’s 4 O’Clock, Jimin’s Promise (happy 2 year anniversary!), V’s Winter Bear and Scenery, and Jin’s Tonight.
Not to mention all the covers released (mostly by JK haha), the special remixes (Euphoria remix, Seesaw x I NEED U), all of rap line’s mixtapes are also on here including RM1 which can’t be heard anywhere else! I mean it’s massive, I’m probably missing some songs lol.
Imagine how successful some of these songs coughs Still With You coughs would be if they were official releases available on platforms like Spotify and Apple Music!! Ahh we can only imagine.
Anyways that’s it, just wanted to gush about this. Happy New Year everyone and stay safe!
Probably the most popular thought ever haha BUT imo the BTS discography is truly something I get lost in. There's SO MANY songs, and they're all vastly different and diverse, with solos with such contrasting vibes that there're something for every mood of mine, and my mood changes what, every five seconds?
Also, the best thing is when I accidentally listen to a gem and later realise to my utter delight that it's from BTS. Idk, it reassures me that I'm really in it because of the music above everything else.
Also, I've never been able to get into music much because of how contrasting and conflicting my tastes can be, which can get tiring when artists only have one or two genres in their discography so I have to go out and look for songs in different places. But in BTS' case I just have to look into one artist to find any kind of song and it's delightful how different say, V's Stigma and Jin's Moon are and I love both. Also, something about the mesh of their voices together creates an interesting soundscape. They have rap, singing and everything in between, and the best part is that it actually sounds great.
Another thing I've noticed is how a lot of their songs have many parts of the same song that are catchy on their own, which means my easily distracted self can listen to whole songs without having to switch songs every two minutes or replaying the same 30 seconds over and over again (which I still do haha).
A lot of other artists are great at this too obviously, but I love how a lot of BTS songs are paced really well and builds well and reaches a 'high' very satisfactorily.
In short, their songs are almost never boring, even if they're not fast paced.
Been a fan since These Hopeful Machines and I've come to love all of BT's projects over the years. I think Emotional Technology might be my top studio album, with A Song Across Wires as a close second. As for his ambient/instrumental albums, This Binary Universe absolutely takes the cake! His track 13 Angels on My Broken Windowsill holds a special place in my heart as well. Every Other Way has to be my absolute #1 vocal track, including the Armin remix which I spent many nights driving to back in 2010. Can't wait to hear The Lost Art of Longing this weekend!
So, I just realized that across both of their extensive discographies there is not a single song I hate? Which is crazy?
BTS has ventured into so many different genres over the years and yet I haven’t heard a single song and not liked it or even felt “Oh, that’s not my type”. I love their earlier hip-hop releases but I also love the more pop sound they’ve evolved into. Rapline’s solo mixtapes are all amazing, from Joon’s lyrical masterpieces, to Yoongi’s darker mixtapes to Hobi’s groovy Hope World. Though the vocal line don’t have an album out yet, their styles are pretty distinctive from each other in their solo songs on the albums and on their SoundCloud releases. I love Jin’s emotional ballads. I love both Taehyung’s R&B-esque solos but also his lullabyish SoundCloud releases. I absolutely adore every single solo song Jimin and Jungkook have put out as well.
With EXO too, I love every single song they’ve put out. I don’t know how all their songs are so different but there’s something so exo about them. I love CBX’s refreshing songs but also SC’s chill lofi songs. I love Baekhyun’s R&B albums, I love Jongdae’s heartwrenching ballads, I even love Yixing’s c-pop. Though I was apprehensive about Junmyeon’s and Jongin’s solo both their solo albums were flawless and so so artistic?? I also love all the OSTs they’ve all done, every single one is perfect.
Bonus: I follow KrisHanTao’s solo careers and I love all of their releases too? I adore Luhan’s house type pop and Tao’s c-hip hop. Kris’ mix of Chinese and English hip hop releases is exactly up my lane.
Idk where I wanted to go with this post and I’m sorry if I got some technical genre terms mixed up (I’m not very well versed in this I just tried explain it the best I could). I just find it absolutely wack that there’s such diverse music across the two groups and I love all of it.
So hear me out. Yes I think that these three groups have the best discography and I'm always thinking "Why no one appreciate these discographies? I'll start with BTS. Actually the have in my opinion the most diverse discography, not Red Velvet (I'm not hating RV, I really like them). BTS can pull of ballads, edm, rock, hip hop, pop, urban, r&b and many more. And don't forget about their concepts cuz they have done so many that I can't even think of. Their lyrics are so meaningful and beautiful , it can touch every heart in this world. Listen do Love Yourself Tear and u will get what I'm trying to say.
Monsta X is that type of group that is doing powerful songs with edm and not everyone are gonna like it. And like with BTS, Monsta X has beautiful lyrics but in different type of way. Maybe they are not doing many concepts but they can pull of really well dark concept (and yes many boy groups have done dark concepts but Monsta x is that groups that can do it perfectly). And if you really think that their songs are only dark song.. Boi you're so wrong. Have u ever listened to Stand Up, Monsta Truck, Flow, Party Time, Play it Cool, Mohae (and many more)? Bruh they don't have any bad song.
Stray Kids is practically a new group and I know them since their pre debut. And maybe they are new but their songs are so fucking beautiful and addicting. There are making music with edm but there also opened for different music genres. Can we talk about how Chan, Changbin and Han are amazing producers? They literally made 70% of Stray Kids discography and it's just amazing. Their song are high quality. And I also love how they are singing about problems (ex. Gone days). It's just amazing.
In conclusion stan Monsta X, BTS and Stray Kids. Their discographies deserves to be recognized.
Thanks for reading it and I'm sorry about my English cuz it's not good
I am actually surprised with the rate of this album because i feel like this album better than the previous and i love more than half of the songs, but i realized that the song that i dont like i really cant stand to listen so that is why.
So I have a crush on this girl and she's only heard Black Swan by BTS and we had a conversation about it, then she heard a bit more mainstream BTS songs but didn't like them. Please help me out and suggest some songs that sound like Black Swan and are sung by BTS themselves T.T because I can't think of any, and I have no idea what else to text her about. Thank you!
With a new year comes a new subreddit discography ranking…let’s get it.
The survey will be open until 11:59 pm EST on January 15, 2022. Final reminders will be posted 1 week before and 1 day before the deadline.

Hi everyone!
Six months ago I conducted a discography rating survey for the subreddit, covering BTS’s discography from debut to the end of 2020 (results here). Since then, we’ve had a handful of new music, many new performances, and another big jump in the size of the fandom. With a lot of new people here (welcome!) I’m reopening the survey to give more people a chance to participate in the upcoming ranking.
The survey will be open until January 15, 2022; final reminders will be posted within two weeks before it closes. The deadline is far away, but this gives people more time to fill out the survey because it is long—290 songs and counting! I will be updating the survey throughout the year as new songs are released.

FAQ:
Hello r/bangtan, and happy new year!
You may have seen or participated in the r/popheads ranking of BTS’s discography in July 2019 (if you haven’t yet, check it out!). It’s been a year and a half since then, and not only has BTS released nearly 60 new songs in 2020, but the fandom has also seen tremendous growth. So, with that in mind…what would a 2020 discography ranking look like?
In this survey, you will have the opportunity to rate every* BTS song from 1-10. The ratings for each song will be averaged and ranked from 1 to 269 (yes, there are 269 songs in the survey). The more responses, the better! So, without further ado:
The survey will be open for two weeks, closing on January 17th, 12 am EST. I hope to share the results later that week.
I’d like to give credit to u/radiofan15, the creator of the 2019 ranking, who gave me their blessing to recreate their rating survey for 2020 and graciously provided the template. Thank you!
*Songs included: albums, mixtapes, original Japanese releases, collaborations, original Soundcloud releases, remixes, and OSTs
*Songs not included: skits, Japanese versions of previously released songs, pre-debut songs, adapted/sampled unofficial songs, covers, songs for brand promotions, alternative mixes, remixes of collaborations, and songs/collaborations/mixes that have only been performed live
(^If you include these, the survey would be much, much longer. This gives you a sense of how massive BTS’s discography really is.)
The survey will require you to log into your Google account, but it will not collect any emails or personal information. This serves as a duplication check while keeping the responses anonymous and allows you to edit your responses after you submit.
If you come across a song you haven’t heard, please leave the rating blank. Since you will be able to edit your responses after you submit, you can always come back to rate any songs you initially left blank until the survey closes.
If new songs happen to be released while the survey is open, they will not be added.

Hello r/bts7!

Hello r/bangtan!
The survey Rating BTS's Discography: 2013-2020 will close in 24 hours (January 17th, 12 am EST). This is the last chance to submit or update your ratings before the deadline.
Results will be posted roughly around 3 pm EST on January 17th, so stay tuned. Thank you for your participation!
Hello r/bangtan!
Thank you to everyone who has filled out the survey for rating BTS’s discography so far!
This is a reminder that the survey closes in one week on January 17th, 12 am EST. The results will be posted within 24 hours of this deadline.
If this is the first time you’ve seen the survey, it’s a 2020 recreation of the r/popheads ranking of BTS’s discography. You get to rate ^((almost)) every BTS song from 1-10, and the average ratings for each song will be used to compile a ranking from 1 to 269. You don’t need to have heard BTS’s entire discography to fill out the survey and can rate as many songs as you want. You can also update or add ratings as many times as you want up until the deadline. Additional information can be found here.
More responses will help make the ranking more robust, and I’m hoping that it will accurately reflect the preferences of reddit ARMY. Thank you for your participation!
Not a good album overall, but luckily, this is their last t
... keep reading on reddit ➡Hello r/bts7! I posted this in r/bangtan two days ago but just found this subreddit. I hope this post is allowed!
Differences from the 2019 survey:
