A list of puns related to "Archspire"
I know they're labeled as technical death metal, which is 100% true--they even market themselves as such (STAY TECH), but could they also be considered proggy?

Hi, does anyone own the Bleed the Future tab book from SheetHappens? Their site only shows 8 string guitars being used but Iβm curious if Tobiβs parts are still using a 7 string like in Relentless Mutation. Just want to figure out if itβs worth buying without an 8 string
Thanks :)
Recently i read the Drone Corpse Aviator, A.U.M., and other Archspire songs lyrics and i'm confused. I saw the mention of a black/blackened liquid. Also A.U.M. is mentioned various times in the album.
If you have a better idea of the meaning of any of this songs (or the album as a whole) it would be pretty interesting to hear it.
EDIT: So to make a little sum up: The Lingua BrΓΌtallica podcast and prognotes are the way to go. A.U.M (that stands for "Apeiron Universal Migration") is some kind of cult that makes inhuman experiments. And the last two albums speak basically of the same concept.
I've never been super into Tech-Death but I am high af right now and listening to the new Archspire record and it is insaaaane. Halfway through the final song and woahhhhh what a journey, especially Reverie on the Onyx. Checked them out mostly cause they're from Vancouver where I live and my cousin used to work with the bass player lol but this is crazy shit in the best way.
The whole album is fucking incredible. Don't get me wrong. I love it. The only little thing that bugs me is in Reverie Of The Onyx in the middle where it goes into this amazing avant-garde classical bridge that builds into an epic crescendo that had the potential to be one of the filthiest metal breakdowns in history given how clever the composition of the strings is. But then it kinda just breaks into scattered disjointedness again. I feel they missed an oppurtunity to blast into some amazing heavy cinematic style mindmill-hair swinging wall of death type breakdown like Golden Mouth Of Ruin but it just feels kinda anti climactic, especially in the last 10 minutes of such an epic album. Just my 2c. I am completely aware that i could never do any better and i should just shut the fuck up. Rest of the album is 10/10 and I coomed and farded and shidded
As Iβm new to this genre Iβve only had time to listen to a couple different bands that are tech metal, especially because Iβve had archspire on repeat. What I want to ask is if there are any other bands in the genre where the vocalist can growl that quickly and enunciated. I obviously like the other music Iβve heard in the genre but Oliβs vocals literally made my jaw drop when I heard them the first time and they still do
Oli please slow the fuck down.

Searching something close to this three. Even in tech death scene can't find any fast band like Archspire, Fallujah was the most came close to it. Thanks for any recs.
I just saw on Facebook and confirmed on the ticket site that the rising merch faces of death tour is postponed until next year. I was really excited to go see them in Bochum. If anyone has more info it would be greatly appreciated.
