A list of puns related to "Ant Man and the Wasp"
It probably sounds silly, but it's just really refreshing to see a movie where the step parent isn't some dick who we're supposed to dislike.
Scott, his ex-wife, her husband, and Cassie all just get along happily
Edit: Wow, this blew up

Okay so the discovery/theory: You can see the souls of the universe moving throughout the Quantum Realm after Thanos' snap.
Watch the clip, before and after Scoot retrieves the Quantum Particles the Realm is a deep blue and in an almost "calm" state. But seconds before the Pym's disappear, we begin to see orange start to fill the Realm.
Orange is the color of the Soul Stone. Then, the camera pans out, and we see orange orbs traveling across the realm.
This would be around the time Thanos snapped his finger, down to the seconds if you watch Infinity War and how soon Bucky disappears.
Also, if you need a lineup of the snap to this, check this out: https://streamable.com/oj5nc
What do you guys think?
Edit: Holy crap didn't think this would get that munch attention, so based off comments let me address some stuff.
I know there are orange orbs before Scott (yes Scott not Scoot) sucks in the healing particles. But after what would be the snap and the orange starts to come back, there is significantly more orange out and about, and instead of floating there they seems to be highly energized.
So, maybe they are just healing particles, but there are alot more because it's the universe's way of fixing itself after the snap?
Also, I would edit out "Scoot" but you guys seem to enjoy that bit lol. Thank you guys for all the comments! If anyone could tweet this to @PeytonRred for confirmation that would be really cool!
So, I watched Ant Man and the Wasp in theaters and enjoyed it. At the time thought it was fine passable, if not lower end Marvel grade entertainment.
Upon later viewings Iβve come to realize weβre really not getting enough of what films like this have to offer.
Itβs a film entirely comfortable in its own skin. It doesnβt need to save the world, but rather set up its own small scale emotional stakes and deliver on those stakes.
Iβm not sure entirely how to articulate it but it maintains an emotional integrity throughout the entire film that is honestly absent in most films nowadays.
I watched it with my girlfriend who is usually pretty out on βsuperheroβ films but was enthralled by this one simply on the merit that it was predominantly centered around a small cast we cared about versus some global scale crisis.
It was able to tell jokes and even poke fun at itself as well as the marvel universe at large.
Hopefully we see more of this type of storytelling in the future and directors can aknowledge itβs not always about wormholes in the sky but rather making the small things feel important m, no pun intended.
By my count, this is the list of the characters who are not being used in an event. Which, in my mind at least, means they would be prime candidates for the upcoming IW legendary event. Use this list as you will, and see if you can find a possible common denominator to finally be ahead of FN.
β’ Aim Assulter β’ Aim Infector β’ Aim Monstronsity β’ Aim Researcher β’ Aim Security β’ America Chavez β’ Black Panther β’ Cable β’ Captain Marvel β’ Crossbones β’ Doctor Strange β’ Falcon β’ Hulk β’ Hydra Armored Guard β’ Hydra Rifle Trooper β’ Hydra Scientist β’ Hydra Sniper β’ Hyrda Grenadier β’ Iron Man β’ Kingpin β’ Magneto β’ M'Baku β’ Minn-erva β’ Nebula β’ Okoye β’ Phoenix β’ Rescue β’ Scientist Supreme β’ Shuri β’ Star-Lord β’ Thanos β’ Thor β’ Ultimus β’ Ultron β’ Vision β’ War Machine β’ Winter Soldier
For my two cents, I keep seeing that the rumor is that the sinister six will be the unlock, I disagree with that rumor, because then you'll be able to use them to unlock Shuri, who needs Spiderverse.
Edit: deleted antman
How should we prepare? It's been so long since we've had one I forgot how team up events work.
In the final moments of Ant-Man and the Wasp we see Scott Lang trapped in the quantum realm during the snap.
I predict that in IW part 2, Scott will have been both snapped and unsnapped. As a result of being in the quantum realm, Scott will be subject to the laws of quantum mechanics rather than classical mechanics, and he will be left in a state of quantum coherence (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quantum_coherence) where he has both been snapped and spared. He will escape the quantum realm (or maybe not and communicate through others who have been entangled with the quantum realm) and serve as a liason between those who have been snapped and those who have been spared.
Will the insects win? Or The Mad Titan?
So, Avengers: Endgame came out nearly three weeks ago.
Since then, Iβve had time to process it. My heart skipped a beat as I sat watching Steve Rogers hold Mjolnir and stand against Thanosβs army alone, my inner child cheered as the whole βAVENGERS: ASSEMBLEβ scene happened, and Iβve come to terms with the deaths of Tony Stark and Natasha Romanoff (though this doesnβt stop me from theorizing potential ways in which they can come back for future films).
And, yes, when I first saw it, I was just as puzzled when I saw the scene at the end with Old Man Steve.
Avengers: Endgame sets up some pretty concrete time travel rules throughout the film. Changing your past is impossible, all going back in time and interfering with future events does is create an alternate timeline, born from the consequences of those events. This is a good method and an interesting take on time travel: not only does it keep the stakes high as Clint and Natasha still have to decide who will be sacrificed for the Soul Stone, but it makes for a horrifyingly epic twist from Thanos from the past travels to the future to stop the Avengers from undoing all of his βhard workβ.
Then, at the end, Steve goes to put everything back β the Infinity Stones and Mjolnir β in their respective timelines so that those arenβt significantly affected, as the 2012 Ancient One establishes that taking the Infinity Stones to the Avengersβ time is good for them, but not so good for her.
But, instead of returning, Steve doesnβt come backβ¦ until Bucky Barnes looks to the side and sees an old man sitting on a bench. Turns out itβs Steve, who decided to stay in the past and get married to Peggy Carter, before handing over his Vibranium Shield to the Falcon. Itβs a heartwarming scene that provokes happy tears from the viewer, in comparison to the sad, angry or scared tears theyβll have been shedding the whole movie, at the cost of undercutting the rules of time travel and therefore the entire plot of Avengers: Endgame.
Or does it? There may be an explanation for exactly why this isnβt a plot hole, and Avengers: Endgame doesnβt break its own rulesβ¦ although it is guilty of not stating them.
So, first of all, we have to rule out what didnβt happen, and why it couldnβt have happened based on the rules Avengers: Endgame lays out definitively, before we get into the actual explanation.
Steve didnβt go back in time and live in the same timeline, where he became the husband of Peggy and father of her children β w
... keep reading on reddit β‘I have started this off here but will edit if any corrections need to be made or points that are supported are made in the comments below (more than that should be higher).
These are all guesses/estimates based on on screen action and counting both good/bad/collateral. Will count off screen due to onscreen events (so say the attack on Xandar) but not off screen assumed events (like all the SHIELD/Hydra causalities that probably happened around the world in other SHIELD locations in Winter Soldier). This might inspire someone to sit down and count but there would still be estimating with that.
Because Reddit numbering defaults to ascending let's go lowest to highest.
We were never shown the ant in question or any mention of it in Endgame. After Scott, Hank, Hope and Janet disappeared, probably no one would have been able to revert it to its original size, or know what to do with it in general. What happened after that?
Specifically Ghost and Liz. Both have white dads, but that didn't affect their casting choice for the characters, rather choosing the best fit for the character. IMO, this is how diverse casting should be done, not casting people of colour for the sake of diversity, but casting the best fit for the role without considering colour too much.
I noticed a lot of people's Phase 5 predictions don't include any Ant-man/ Ant-man and the Wasp sequels.
Do folks think they'll get a third movie in Phase 5, and if so when? Or do people think that they'll mainly appear in other heroes' movies?
