Bocelli's many fans, seem to think he is a God, a virtuoso, but the few classical musicians that I've spoken to don't think he is worthy of such elevation. Enrico Caruso, Luciano Pavarotti rocked it! Bocelli? Meh...!
Sorry in advance - some quick research tells me many people aren't a fan of Bocelli here. But I really need help.
I bought tickets to his show all the way back in June for his upcoming 12/12 concert. It's a pretty expensive ticket tier - VIP Dinner Package that includes a pre-show Italian dinner, wine, VIP parking, gift bag, etc., plus a great seat. I have ONE extra ticket.
Unfortunately, Ticketmaster will not let resellers designate the TIER of their ticket - so my listing just looks like some overpriced ticket with no frills; I can't specify all the extra stuff that comes with it.
I'm desperately seeking advice on other avenues to connect with opera/Bocelli fans who may be interested in this show. I posted it in my local NextDoor, and a neighbor suggested I try his fan club - I googled it and only found Facebook groups and his personal website. Does anyone here have any suggestions? Link to his fan club? Suggestions of local (DC/MD/VA) opera lover groups, local Bocelli groups, etc? I'm at a loss.

I've was revisiting some older records from childhood and listening to Camper Van Beethoven. It was bugging me for weeks and I thought, 'Meh, CVB just borrowed the motif...' but I realized today that the CVB song predates the Bocelli song by, like, eight years.
Is it just me?

I am floored that somebody took the time to design this for my grandmother. I wish the contrast showed up a little better on Bocelli, and that the text were easier to read, but for $7? Somebody put way more than $7 worth of effort into designing this.

We won't be able to go to the concert anymore (had to put our dog down in the middle of the night so we're devastated).
They're paper tickets, so we would need to set up a pick up time.
