A list of puns related to "Amestris"

R2: With the Swarm & Amestris & Characters during Promise Day event EoS.
If, in the 2003 anime, our world is a more scientifically advanced world, why does Amestris have automail?
Why or why not?
Let's say the nation of Amestris decides to invade the United Republic of Nations. The nations are transported to a Europe-Shaped Continent and are left to their own devices.
There will be 4 scenarios:
1: Amestris vs the United Republic: No Father, no Avatar, no philosopher's stones, no homunculi (With the exception of Fuhrer Bradley, but he cannot fight), and the United Republic is lead by President Raiko.
2: Same rules but Korra joins the battle and all homunculi are allowed to fight.
3: Same rules as the last 2 scenarios, but Lin Beifong gets tired of Raiko's bullshit and launches a coup de tat, she is now the leader of the United Republic. Lin also gets Varrick, Kuvira+her giant mech, Toph Beifong, and somehow Fire Lord Ozai rises from the dead.
4: Same as the last 3 but every state alchemist gets a philosopher stone and it's Sozin's Comet.

Very good. I know you guys will be like, Are you crazy? ! But, don't worry, I know how to solve this matter.
Rules: -Amestris doesn't have her homunculi, except for king bradley. -Eldia is counting on the Erensaur. But without rumbling. -Eldia recovers the old soldiers from her. Among them Erwin, the anti personnel squad, etc. -Amestris has all the alchemists of him. -Amestris teleports to the east of Eldia at 100 km. --Really van hohenheim does not participate. Neither scar, those of xing, etc. In the same way, Eldia does not participate in the Marleyan prisoners of war. Kimblde does have his philosopher's stone.
The war happens in both countries. That is, if Eldia sends ships to amestris, the confrontation will take place in Amestris. They have no preparation time.
Sorry if this is stated in the series, but i couldn't find a answer
A lot of people say Germany, and there are definitely a lot of German quirks like the architecture, surnames like Elric, and obviously the leader being called FΓΌhrer.
But there are also French names like Alphonse and Italian like Cornello.
So I'd actually say that Amestris is far closer to Belgium or Alsace.
I've only watched the Brotherhood anime; if there's anything in the manga that supports or contradicts this, let me know.
Following the dissolution of the Amestrian monarchy in the late 19th century, Amestris enjoyed a short-lived democratic system which divided power between Parliament (Ed mentions in one episode how power needs to be returned to Parliament), a president, and a cabinet led by a "fuhrer". At the height of the Ishvalan Civil War, which was devastating the country, the president dismissed the then-fuhrer and appointed in his place the war hero General Bradley. This was likely intended as a political move to increase confidence in the government and associate them with Bradley's past military triumphs, as the ongoing war and its effects were undermining opinion of the state.
However, after the president was assassinated in an attack by Ishvalan insurgents - a failure of his military security detail - Parliament voted to grant Fuhrer Bradley emergency powers, allowing him to assume the powers of the presidency. Bradley's first action with his newfound power was to end the war brutally yet efficiently by calling for the extermination of Ishval. This did, however, have the desired effect of ending the conflict that had by this point dragged on for 7 years - most Amestrians considered it necessary, and Bradley and the military were hailed as heroes.
Afterwards Bradley remained in power to help rebuild the ravaged Amestrian countryside, sweep up the remaining Ishvalan forces, and keep the peace. The year is now 1914. While in theory Fuhrer Bradley and the military were merely filling a temporary custodial role, Bradley shows no sign of surrendering power - on the contrary, the military has over time been assuming more and more of the functions of the civilian government, and Parliament has become increasingly sidelined. Most recently the capital has even been shifted from Bonn - where the civilian government is based - to Central City, a new planned city built with the assistance of the military. Yet it is a system that seems to work, and few Amestrians are inclined to complain about the new situation of military rule. The country is enjoying a period of stability and prosperity in spite of frequent border skirmishes with its neighbors, and far from a reign of tyranny, Bradley shows no intention of chipping away at essential freedoms. The Amestrian public and military alike adore their Fuhrer; Bradley is viewed as a kind leader and a patriot wh
... keep reading on reddit β‘The Fire Nation Islands are off the coast of Amestris (in an ocean replacing the Xerxes Desert, not to scale), both nations must fight to the death.
Fire Nation must occupy and control Amestris, with ultimate goal of scorching it clean and crowning Ozai Phoneix king. Fire Nation is capable of finding/reverse engineering guns but does not start the war with them. Zhao is not dead, Azula is commanding from the front line, Zuko has been recalled from his Avatar hunt, welcomed back by his father, and given a military command. Zuko has season 1 personality, and season 3 power along with Azula. All three of them may squabble to curry favor with Ozai, but none of them will directly fight or sabotage each other (IE Zhao won't hire pirates to assassinate Zuko, Zuko won't become Blue Spirit to sabotage Zhao/Azula).
Amestris must conquer and destroy the Fire Nation with objectives similar to the Ishvalan campaign. Homonculi will not provide any direct support except Fuhrer Bradley as he deems fit (never at risk of exposing his true nature). Edward has been pressed into service, Alphonse is tagging along, they will try not to kill if they can help it but they cannot say "screw this I'm not helping this war". Scar is actively hunting State Alchemists.
There was a scene where Ed is holding some coins to repay a debt to Mustang and this got me thinking.
In the world of FMA Alchemists can basically reshape matter practically without loss and in a quite simple manner. It seems that reshaping metal is a very simple form of alchemy a lot of alchemists have been shown doing effortlessly in the show.
That means that alchemists can simply print money whenever and wherever they are.
Maybe the currency needs to be updated constantly to keep it valid but an alchemist needs just a single coin to replicate it.
Maybe it is a heinous crime with strict punishment but it can be done anywhere at any time from metal out of the ground and junk.
What could possibly stop an alchemist from basically becoming infinitely rich? They'd probably be tracked if their spending is suspiciously high for their income but an alchemist could just spend the money slower or wiser.
The general focus on morality and the protagonist's struggle to remain true to himself, the role of the homunculi in manipulating key events whilst also envying humans deep down because they're 'incomplete', the way the show can alternate between intense combat and moments of light comic relief, drawing parallels between the power of Kingdom Hearts and philosopher's tones that draw from the life force of human beings, all the body hopping with souls and creating artificial beings as vessels and/or instruments of power, the time period and architecture makes the settings look like quite a few FF worlds etc.. I can totally see the manga being a book you can jump in to like with the 100 Acre Wood. Even if it was indeed more of a 'spin off' world with short episodes I can see chapters being pulled right out of the manga like can you imagine Sora and Ed confronting Cornello?
And also I love this Keyblade design

Rules:
-Nazi Germany in its maximum extension, has all its satellite states. In addition, it owns all the soldiers, tanks and resources that it lost throughout its history. (From the liters of oil to the soldiers of the Waffen SS).
-Everyone recovers their mental health and is in perfect condition both physically and psychologically. (This on all sides).
-Marley owns all the titans of him: It is ruled by Willy Tybur and Magath is the general.
-Earth Empire pre attack on Republic city.
-Amestris has all his alchemists and homunculus.
-Amestris is to the west end, 100 km east is Earth Empire, 200 km east of Earth Empire is Marley; and Germany is 1200 km from Marley.
-None of the countries has preparation time or previous knowledge.
Look, normally I would put this in Whowouldwin, but there almost nobody answers my posts, when I made a publication on Comic Vine, it was a resounding failure.
They blocked my Spacebattlesforums account, and they discovered my multi account.
So here I will have to ask, Could Marley and the Middle Eastern Alliance defeat Marley?
Normally Marley would lose to Amestris for his tanks and alchemy, but here?
Take into account the anime version of the Middle Eastern Alliance, because it is more powerful, I say this because it can build more than one armored train and has mortars, in addition to 150 mm ammunition, and has more anti titan cannons .
It's the manga version of Marley by the way.
Anyway, what do you think?
