are altars necessary for wicca/performing spells?
im learning about wicca/spirituality at the moment and i was wondering if altars are specifically needed for these types of thing. i can access things such as herbs, candles, incense etc but i want to make sure i do this correctly

Looking for a pdf version of Wicca Altar by Brenwan Jonsdotter
I got the sample version for kindle on Amazon about a month ago and I finally got around to checking it out. I really loved it and wanted to download the full version only to find out Amazon doesnβt carry the ebook anymore. Iβve also looked for a physical copy to no avail. If anyone has any suggestions or have any leads, please let me know :)

Hello, this is my first altar i made, i had the feelings to make it with a lot of things i found while being in nature, i am very new to wicca and something just feels so good to practice this religion. Knowledge is always welcome. (Btw, sorry if my english is not that good)

Hello! im new to wicca but i was planning on setting up my altar this week. i have this shelf but i keep my fabrics and bags under. would it be alright to set up the altar on the top surface or should i build a table just for the purpose of altar? (it would be no problem to build one)

Started setting up my first altar today, been wanting to find a start in Wicca for a while. I'm using things I already have in my home right now, and I have to be subtle as my family is very Christian. Any and all advice is appreciated!

After years of being afraid to come out of the broom closet due to difference of opinions from my family, Iβve started a little altar. Iβve begun my journey to really understand Wicca/witchcraft. I do have a small child, he loves helping me collect crystals, garden, and discover nature.

New to Wicca-Altar help?
Hello! I'm a newly practicing Wiccan (to new to have even celebrated or known about Samhain) and I was wondering about what exactly is and is not allowed on my altar. My altar is discreet, since I don't really want my family to know about my practice (I do not believe they would be very accepting; they would probably laugh honestly) but I do the best I can. I have a shelf set up and I've covered it with talismans given to me by family members for luck, crystals, air plants, antique cups, jars, candles, a box with the Goddess symbol on it, etc. My altar also has a live fish on it-- a bowl containing a Betta. Is this something I can do? I've also been contemplating some other items I have, such as dream catchers and the tail of a fox, but I'm not exactly sure if they belong. Help?

I'm fresh to Wicca and have just read about it, but do not have an altar or anything. My family is Muslim-Christan, so I can't really be very open about it. I made a simple pentacle necklace out of polymer clay and an advernterine crystal. Thank you!
