A list of puns related to "All Ireland Senior Club Football Championship"
Before I start giving predictions for each week of the championship Iβll do an overall prediction of how I think it will go. Iβll go through the four provinces and pick finalists and winners and then on to the All-Ireland series so without further adoβ¦.
CONNAUGHT CHAMPIONSHIP: One of the two provinces which are very hard to call for me. Mayo will almost certainly be in the final, with all due respect to Sligo and Leitrim neither of them got out of division four this year and theyβd have to beat the third best team in Ireland so without being too harsh it would be a miracle for either to get there. The other side is tougher. Galway won in the league and are the better side on paper but it wouldnβt surprise me if Roscommon sprung an upset, Iβd still back Galway to come through though. Then it gets very tough. There was only a point in it last year and I reckon this year will be the same. If COC is out for Mayo itβs a huge boost to Galwayβs chances but for now Iβll go with my gut and say Mayo win againβ¦ just.
Finalists: Galway & Mayo Champions: Mayo
ULSTER CHAMPIONSHIP: This is the other one that is extremely hard to call. Donegal would need to win four games on the bounce and including games against Derry and Tyrone which wonβt be easy at all. Tyrone on the other hand would have Cavan and Donegal most likely before they get to a final. I think the two semi finals will be Armagh vs Monaghan and Tyrone vs Donegal and sure whoever wins those is anyoneβs guess. Iβll base my picks on recent form and say itβll be an Armagh vs Donegal final with Donegal finally getting to a semi final for the first time since 2014. But I wouldnβt be too confident in my picks.
Finalists: Armagh & Donegal Champions: Donegal
MUNSTER CHAMPIONSHIP: On to the easier two provinces now and with all due respect to Cork and Clare thereβs only one champion here. Itβs a fairly straightforward path with Kerry having to overcome Clare and Tipperary to reach a final, Cork will probably have Limerick which could be tough for them but Iβd expect them to win it.
Finalists: Cork & Kerry Champions: Kerry
LEINSTER CHAMPIONSHIP: Now the for the easiest competition in world sport to pick a winner of. Wicklow play Wexford this weekend and the reward for that is a roasting off Dublin a week later. My guess is the semi finals will be Kildare vs Dublin and Laois vs Meath and the same final and result as last year.
Finalists: Dublin & Meath Champions: Meath
ALL-IRELAND CHAMPIONSHIP:

He is averaging 6.8 PPG over 48 games, 23-260 (329) and Gooch averaged 4.1 PPG over 85 games, 23-283 (352). Based on averages, he'll almost certainly break it this season.
At just 26 years old, will he make the record basically unbreakable by the time he retires? And will he have a seat at the table of the Greatest of All-time?
My wife and I are taking our first trip to Ireland and will be in Dublin when the championship takes place. I've been trying to learn more about Gaelic football and would love to see the championship in person. I've been researching how to get tickets and I haven't found a definitive answer. It appears that I'd need to buy tickets through a local club (which i doubt I'll be able to since I am not a member).
Does anyone have any advice on how I might purchase tickets? Or, am I being delusional in even trying?
My apologies if this has been asked before, but I have searched /r/irishtourism and did not see it covered.
I am coming to Ireland from the USA in September of this year as a tourist and am interested in attending the football championship match at Croke Park on Sept 17th. I'm unfamiliar with GAA events, but after doing some research it appears that tickets are not available for purchase and are instead distributed to GAA clubs throughout Ireland for supporters/members to use. Is there any way to secure reliable/legitimate tickets as a tourist beforehand? I'd prefer not to rely on scalpers/touts outside the stadium as I'd be travelling to Dublin specifically to attend this event and would like to have tickets secured before my arrival.
Thanks for any help you can provide.

Requests granted as of 3/10/21
Hey everyone! A few weeks ago I added the two clubs that were promoted to the Championship, and now I've added some more various flairs that were suggested by users.
Wolves are one of the top teams in the 3rd tier, and a favorite for promotion to the Championship, so it seems like a flair that sooner or later would be appearing here.
The WSL flair is for those that a neutral fans of the league and don't have an interest in a specific club.
The UK & Republic of Ireland national team flairs are from a similar place, there may be folks here that are fans of those national teams more than any specific club and are here to talk about their favorite players from their nation. Or maybe you just want to use them during international breaks, I don't know!
There will always be flairs for every WSL and Championship club, but since the leagues get significantly bigger from National League (3rd division) on down, those will be made only by individual requests to individual requests. When a team is relegated from the Championship, the flair will still be usable, don't worry!
Please use a flair because it helps fans find fellow supporters of their club, adds some variety to the comment pages, and...because I put work into them haha

... keep reading on reddit β‘How many championships would Dublin have to won for you to accept change is needed?
We're at 6 now and you wont find many betting against 7. Many of the original 2015 team are gone and even Jim Gavin has left so it is no longer that it's not one group of players or a single manager. Even with a funding change the current setup is locked in for another 2 to 3 years minimum and without any change I have no doubt Dublin will win 5 of the next 6 all Irelands but probably all 6.
I'll also chip in as a non Dublin leinster fan weve had 10 in a row with no end in sight and i would be surprised if Dublin dont hit 20 in a row.
So essentially is there any point where dub supporters will admit there is an issue?
Dublin 1-17 - 1-16 Mayo Dublin win again. Hard luck Mayo.
