I am visiting in March 2022. I was considering taking a shuttle to Monte Alban for a morning trip, but I have read that the pandemic has limited the number of people allowed in to 400 people per day. Also that there is a line to get in and people should arrive one or two hours before open to wait in line to ensure entry.
Is this all still in place? Does any have any recommendations on entering on foot or with a tour guide? Any recommendations for tour guides or tour companies?
Hi All,
My other half and I are looking to move and we've seen a property that is quite close to the St Albans Abbey to Watford line (the houses opposite back onto the train line). I wanted to ask if it's a noisy line/ how far away can you hear the noise from the train line?
Thanks in advance!
American here. Looking at interning at Apple next year year and they have two sites: SA and Cambridge. Which do you prefer and why?

I am a sun-powered creature at heart and I live for that day in December when the days begin to lengthen again. I no longer live near a grove and haven't met any local druids, and my spouse isn't a druid but just a general pagan-zen type of person, so this year it's just little ol' me.
I'm keeping things simple. I will perform a basic ritual at my indoor altar. Part of the ritual is making a smudge stick from cinnamon sticks and dried redcedar leaflets (I collect the cedar leaflets from blowdown in Sept/Oct, then dry it to make the smudge sticks). I smudge the house to symbolically prepare for the incoming of the light. I then plan to go on a long walk and spend some time in nature meditation. I have made a few birdseed ornaments (all from materials that will decompose naturally once the seed is gone, and using seeds which aren't invasive in my area), which I will hang about the woods on my walk as an offering to our feathered friends that brighten the winter days for us around here.
I like to connect each seasonal ritual to the next, as I feel it captures the natural movement and flow that the wheel of a year or yearly cycle should have. Part of my Samhain ritual included making a fruitcake, which my family will enjoy as our dessert after a nice solstice meal. I will also light the Imbolc candle for the first time. I mark four candles into 11 segments each, so a total of 44 segments (I have a candle holder that holds four candles). Each night I burn one segment as part of my normal meditation routine, thus adding to the light each evening until Imbolc on Feb 2 and the first stirrings of spring.
I may also join the OBOD online ritual, but undecided as it can be a challenge with the major time difference.
