21 (2008) is the first in the YCU (Year Cinematic Universe) with its sequels '1917' (2019) and '2012' (2009). However unlike its sequels, controversially none of the film takes place in the year in the title.

[TOMT][MOVIE] foreign film, from 2008+/-

I feel like I’m going crazy trying to remember a film I saw about 10 years ago. It’s extremely strange, very dreamlike. The only plot bits I can remember have to do with a woman going on some journey, it’s very mind-fucky & dystopian. She has to cross a huge bridge but can’t breathe while she crosses it, & she ends up I think slipping & gasps, & some huge thing on the bridge senses her breath. She descends into some red/bloody canal-esq thing(?), it’s revealed that she had an abortion that she’s kind of forced to confront. I can’t really remember anything else, I think it might be Japanese though. Someone please help, I feel like I’m recalling a fever dream
