Just wondering if this cartridge is available anywhere in Canada yet, and what the price is? I think the Bmag is the only rifle currently out, but 2 semi autos (Franklin Armory FA-17 L and Volquartsen 17 WSM) are coming out soon. Both are pretty pricey (around $1800). If anyone knows of any cheaper semi-auto's that are out or planned to come out in the next year I'd love to know, sounds better than the HMR so far, as long as the price is similar. Also, if anyone's shot a 17 WSM I'd like to hear your opinion on it.
Any recommendations on what to get that won’t kill my bank account? Or should I just save my money for a 30-30 instead of a rimfire lever? It would be my first ever lever gun. I thought it might be smart to get one in a caliber that i can still find at cheap pre Covid prices. But I wonder if it’s stupid and I should just wait for more centerfire levers to become available again.
