This was actually released last month and I didn't see it posted on here. It's been a "white whale" of mine for a little while so I'm super happy to finally have a copy. Still holding out for Welcome to the Monkey House!

This might be an odd question but does anyone know much about this particular fashion? I like the way these guys look and feel like my own band would suit a similar style of look and clothing
Where can I get similar clothing? Does it look like they're wearing any particular brands? What are some of the names of the accessories they wear?

Indie Landfill was a term that felt like it was invented for the Dandy Warhols. They were fine. Some good, fun songs that made them no ones FAVOURITE but many people;s third or forth favourite band. They could maybe headline a festival, but they seemed more like second headliners.
My understanding though is that history has really improved their legacy. Admittedly I’m a little tipsy while writing so my rose tinted specs are definitely ON.
Firstly their melodies songs are great. The exactly the right amount of sing along-able to at a festival-ness. Everyday could be a holiday, We used to be friends, Not if you were the last junkie... they can craft a tune like they were working in the Brill Building
Secondly, their lyrics managed to tread a line between humour, irony, sincerity that very few have managed to walk.
Thirdly, they seem to have accidentally sired a substantial amount of 00’s and 10’s culture. Portlandia seems a distillation of the Dandy’s Portland. Bohemian Like You seems to describe hipster culture. The documentary Dig - a comparison between them and the Brian Jonestown Massacre accidentally called them as the winners or the the art vs commercial success dichotomy. Their DNA runs through an array of otherwise unconnected bands (MGMT, The Killers).
What do you think. Is my drunk soul reinventing the late 90s to make them more relevant?
Catchy, tightly arranged songs with loud guitars, synths and vocal harmonies.
I also like britpoppy bands like Blur, Oasis and Suede, and American pop punk like Motion City Soundtrack and The Starting Line.

Long Story Short... Long running alternative/indie/grunge band from Portland that formed in the early 90's because they "needed some music to drink to". Combining psych-rock, shoegaze, power pop, synth pop and more, The Dandy Warhols have made a career by always keeping their audience guessing. Much like the very famous person they took their name from.
