A list of puns related to "White Labels"
Iβve been thinking about this, and now inspired by the complaining post before this one.
A lot of people seems to think of it still as a βstore frontβ solution, like Stadia but branded by the publishers. Where every game is available through one portal.
Giver what the Batman version looked like, and my understanding of white label, I think it is more a game by game access:
You wouldnβt go to βwww.ubisoft-cloud.comβ and navigate your owned games, instead you buy a license from any store front (Ubisoft, Amazon, any third party sellers) and then go to βwww.assassinscreedshinobi.playβ, from any browser, and create a web app shortcut for your mobile, etc. (DISCLAIMER: those are made up urls, I have no idea nor am responsible to where they might lead, if at all) Or you stay in an hotel and instead of a movie you rent a game, that was licensed to a generic login from that hotel.
It would enable cloud games to be sold as a product themselves, good for independent and non-franchise publishers mostly.
This way it implies to me more of a lateral spread of the technology, rather than cloud game store fronts will die or dominate cloud game access. Thereβs applications to both, and as we know advantages to have a storefront/portal with all your games, but also in the future that can be just a third party tool, that lets you add the link to the games you own.
Just as the title says, thoughts on whether this is okay or not, and possible reasons for a grower to do business in this way?
The last year and a half has seen a huge surge of skate purchases, new skaters, and new skate companies trying to break into the market to make a few bucks. Along with these new companies, a few new trendy companies have come out with cute skates that are made with poor quality materials and low end manufacturing, then overcharging new skaters for subpar products. A group of people, including myself and some roller skate shop owners, have been researching and hunting down the source of these skates. Most are made in what are called white label factories on China; a factory or group of factories making the same or slightly different products, selling them at low cost to brands, who then sell them to the consumer for a profit. This isn't necessarily bad! And this practice isn't new! You probably notice that Amazon sells thousands of the same products for different prices and different brand names. The issue that us skate nerds and the professionals have is that these skates are not always safe for certain styles of skating, mainly skate park. The plates are die-cast aluminum made of low quality aluminum that tends to break. (we've seen it happen in many skate groups) Most good quality name brand plates are made from aircraft grade aluminum that is milled.
So how does it work to start a business or a brand?
You can find these white label factories on alibaba or aliexpress where they advertise the same skates you see from brands like Moonlight Roller, Chuffed, Zodiac, Intetionally Blank, C3, Angel, Foxy, Impala, Moxi Rainbow Riders, and a few others. Some of these brands don't overcharge for their products but some are just trying to make a buck. Sure, that's how free market works. But just be aware of what you're getting and don't get hurt. Spend your money how you want but we suggest that you don't try to take them to a skate park and try dropping into a bowl or jumping ramps. Most are completely fine and perfect for dancing and cruising.
As for proof?
We have narrowed down at least one main factory in Guangdong Province called Flying Tiger. You chose your product and you "customize" your product with color, look, and plates. Then you order thousands. Not everything out of China is BAD. Companies like Riedell get their raw materials (leather and suede) from China, Bont gets their carbon fiber from Japan, and other stuff. It's just certain factories and products.
We have found the same

Hey all, Iβve found that one thing business owners desperately need (but absolutely despise) is business process optimization.
They donβt know what employees are doing, or they know something needs improvementβ¦ but donβt have the bandwidth to do it.
Iβve built a team who is extremely proficient in:
Iβm a fractional COO, and after working with many clients, Iβve found this is one of the most important pieces for making a business run tight (reliant on processes and not people).
Itβs also the part I enjoy the most.
My question β would anyone see value in having a team behind you who can fulfill this piece, perhaps as an upsell, and make money on us as a partner?
Really appreciate your feedback :)
Any advice on printing neck labels on white shirts? Been having issues with the ink bleeding through the other side of the shirt. Any help would be much appreciated.

I have a client who asked if I was OK 'white labeling' my services.
It says that it's a "Nut-free alternative to Almond Water", but I heard most people say that you shouldn't drink ANYTHING in the backrooms besides Almond Water, and I haven't found any Almond Water for a long ass time, so should I drink it?
A generic question if someone have experience. How hard/easy it is to create a while label coffee brand and sell locally online etc. I know the marketing and branding aspect is one of the key to success. But wanted to check if someone has some experience? or tried or did the same?
So hypothetical scenario.
Let's say you use a relatively small player white label SaaS solution and you brand that solution with your logo and then you use that white label to get investors with the sole intention of getting the money to build your own product.
Is this considered unethical? Or do founders do this?
Happy new year everyone! I am selling things I don't need.
