A list of puns related to "Wellington International Airport"
A friend of mine is travelling from Melbourne to Wellington tomorrow. His flight is expected to arrive by midnight. How much time it normally takes at the immigration and at what time I can expect him to come out? Thanks
Hello,
I am presently completing a Year 13 Geography assignment at secondary school concerning the proposed extension to the runway of Wellington International Airport. Part of the assignment involves recording answers to a survey my group has put together, which contains questions about the opinion of the respondent with regards to the proposed runway extension. I would be most grateful if any of the members of this sub-forum on Reddit would be able to answer this survey, which I have posted below.
Thank you very much for your help.
Today, the Prime Minister /u/Fresh3001 held a rally to announce his partyβs immigration policies outside the Wellington International Airport.
βEach year, around 70,000 people emigrate from all over the world to New Zealand, setting foot on Kiwi soil at airports like this one. The Liberal Party of New Zealand considers itself to be a pro-immigration party, as we recognise not just our own heritage as immigrants but the economic and societal benefits that immigration provides. Itβs the ultimate form of meritocracy, where those who are skilled and determined are able to find a better life than what their birth country can provide. Immigrants have arrived on our shores, since the first MΔori settlement in 1280, to seek out that better future and are prepared to face the challenges that come along with it. The Liberal Party wishes to foster a spirit of the βNew Zealand Dreamβ which drove Polynesian navigators and colonial pioneers to settle on these shores, by making it easier for driven entrepreneurs to come to our country.
"Currently, the Entrepreneur Visa requires: a minimum capital investment of NZ$100,000 (excluding working capital); 120 points or more, with points awarded for factors about the likely success of the business and its value to New Zealand; a clear business plan; clean recent history of bankruptcy, business failure and fraud; and health, character and English language requirements. The Liberal Party would remove the capital investment requirement, so that it is easier for entrepreneurial and skilled migrants to contribute to our society. This would allow for down and out entrepreneurs or the business-minded from poorer countries to take advantage of this visa, not just the wealthy. The Liberal Party would also listen to the advice of Immigration NZ and expand our refugee intake to 1500 per year, while maintaining important safeguards. As a first world nation with a high quality of life, we should look to help those overseas who are struggling with conflict and extreme poverty.β
Hey looking for some advice about the basics.
My partner and I are moving to NZ in February for at least 1 year possibly up to 3. We are both working in healthcare, combined salary 150-160k ish plus 20% for overtime, nights. So I've a couple or random questions is that's ok and I'd appreciate any insight you guys may have.
Obviously there is a million other questions, namely why the feck are we doing this in the middle of a global pandemic but the opportunity came up and my approach is, nothing ventured nothing gained.
Thank in advance.
I asked him, "Do you know any of those martial arts things, like Kung-Fu, Karate, or Ju-Jitsu?"
He says "No, why the f**k would you ask me that? Is it because I am Chinese?"
"No", I said, "It's because you're drinking my beer, you little prick."
Hi folks, can anyone let me know on rush hour how long is Karori to the Airport. Thank you!
