A list of puns related to "Vert Skating"
I just got this game yesterday and I was looking forward to skating transition the most. Its just my cup of tea. However when I tried it on my ps4, holy fuck. This shit is hard. And not only because the game is hard. The game glitches you out often as well, its like the devs didnt even βimplementβ vert skating at all sometimes. Anyway, have you guys got some tips maybe? Im learning how to pump, but for me its still nearly impossible to gain speed in the smallest bowl in the riverfern map.
Hey gang,
If you like vert skating, whatβs a frame you would recommend?
Doesnβt matter whether your suggestions meet the following criteria, but Iβm especially looking for some flat, long frames with big wheels (66-80mm), but also with an h-block big enough for a variety of grinds help me do some more transition tricks in half-pipes and bowls.
Right now Iβm considering the Oysi Chassis and Kizer Level III.
I got some anti-rockers for the first time last week (Roces M12 with stock frames), but the combined lack of speed, turning, and traction with the ground are making me have a hard time enjoying them. I almost exclusively skate at skate parks, but for everything except for grinds, I actually prefer my cheap fitness skates (Rollerblade Zetrablade 80mm).
Any feedback would be very appreciated!
I've been doing pretty good with my flat ground but want to work on vert. Do I need to get risers for my board? Loosen my trucks? Softer bushings? When I go up and down a ramp, I'm kick turning but isn't skating a bowl more about carving? Just need some advice if anyone can help, thanks.
Im 3/4 months into skating, looking to set up a 9.75 inch vert deck, and was wondering if theres any reason not to use longboard RKP trucks. Will they catch on the coping in a weird way? Do they not turn correctly on a shorter wheelbase? Reason im considering is it is to try and find a truck size that will fit the board best.
Thanks!
Vert skating in skater XL sucks. You can't even drop in. Other than that it just feels off. Like sometimes it will just throw me up 50 feet in the air. Other times it will give me a speed glitch. Is there any way to fix vert skating? I'm on console btw.
I've been aggressive skating for over a year, but rarely do much transition skating (the parks I like are mostly ledges with a few rails). But I want to improve, so any tips or suggestions would be appreciated.
In particular, are there benefits to using a particular kind of setup? Like...
- a flat setup, anti, or Oysi?
- a flexible boot like M12s or something more supportive?
- a raised heel boot or flat?
- a boot that fits snugly or something a little looser (like SLs)?
And if the park is one big snake run with 6-12' walls, how can I work up from a 180 to 360?
