A list of puns related to "University Of Trento"
I just wanted to know about your first hand experiences and how the course is compared to others
Hello all and buon giorno! (sorry I don't really speak Italian) I guess you all are probably asleep about now but I (East Coast American) wanted to ask a question about life in Trento.
I recently applied to the University of Trento for a PhD program and I might have an upcoming interview, so I wanted to ask about how life is there. For context I'm 27 and a gay male, so basically and bluntly I wanted to know if life would completely suck there or not. On the surface the town looks absolutely amazing, the Alps are like a dream for someone from my background, just an incredible dream land with all the history and the incredible landscape, but Wikipedia does say that Trento only has about 120k people (I live in a metro with about 6 million for reference) so I'm just a bit afraid I'd end up lonely.
So basically, Trento looks lovely and like the wonderful Alpine dream I could only imagine from this side of the Atlantic, but I want to know 1) Would it suck to be there as a gay 27 year old looking for someone to settle down with and 2) In general what are the bad things about it, why should I NOT want to live there, is it bad for some reason, would life be bad in general, etc, or would it be a good fun college town to live in? Thanks so much (grazie mille?) for any help you guys can give me.
Update: Thanks everyone for all the responses!! I've been out of the loop because of the Thanksgiving weekend so it took me a while to get back to the thread. I really appreciate all of the info from you guys, it's very helpful, you guys are great. :)
Hi all, I'm Giulio, a Ms. Student at the university of Trento, in Italy. For an assignment we've been asked to create a 3D object for printing that help students understand a difficult concept, that cannot be easily understood with a plain pen-and-paper sketch. My idea was to create a 3D version of a Roman amphitheater, with a portion that can be removed to see the internal structure of the building, but I feat this adds nothing to a plain picture. A more complex possibility is to create a model that explains how mRNA works, with moving pieces that allow students to see the interaction that are happening in our body. For this, the problem is not what it adds, but how useful it would be (I've studied chemistry in High School, so probably i'm biased). Do you (Teachers) think this can be an interesting way to explain history of biology? Any advice you would like to give me? Or is there any other topic you've found your students having difficulties to deal with? Thanks in advance :)
Hi everyone. I do not have any history in this sub yet (except for two failed attempt at raising funds foremergencies some time ago), but hoping for somebody to help out. I'd appreciate any help, and I'll provide any needed proof and documentation the lender will require.
I am a freelance comic book artist and illustrator (website here) and work goes extremely well so there's no doubt I'll be able to repay you back. I might even be able to repay next week from what I know, it's just that I have a couple of bills coming up and my clients are late with the payments. My post history will show how I work and earn money!
I would need $250 as soon as possible, possibly today but I can wait until Oct 29th. My plan, as mentioned above, is to repay you in a month or less and add some cherry on top ($50). Don't know if it's too little, let me know in the messages.
Have a nice day.
Seriously this is some bullshit when every god damn BB can citadel you regardless of angle
Mi scuso per la bassa qualitร del video ma il mio unico mezzo era il cellulare.
I keep seeing players trash talking Genova, but claiming Trento is decent. Genova might not be the top of its class, but it is a capable ship with hard hitting guns for T5 and good concealment.
Genova has a painfully slow reload, but as a T5 with 203mm guns it can overmatch the plating on T4 and T5 destroyers, and cruisers, and some T6 and T7 cruisers. This is a huge advantage that the Graf Spee at T6 pays for with decreased accuracy.
In comparison Trento has the same guns with a better reload, but sees fewer ships it can overmatch because T4s have +1/-1 matchmaking.
Genova is also stealthy for a mid tier cruiser with a minimum detection of 10.3km with concealment expert (CE). Genovaโs guns overmatch the bow and stern of all the cruisers that out spot it.
Cruisers that out spot Genova
On the other hand Trento with a minimum concealment of 13km with CE is out spotted by all other cruisers in its matchmaking spread. Kirov, Omaha, Pensacola, Yorck, Algerie, Hipper, and Charles Martel need CE. Amalfi needs CE and Concealment System Mod 1 (CSM1).
It is more likely that captains will have CE by T7 and T8 than T4, T5, and T6. T8s also have access to CSM1 giving them a significant advantage in stealth.
Trentoโs advantages over Genova are T6 armour plating, 4400 more HP, 12km torpedos (4km better range than Genova), and Fuel Smoke consumables. IMO the concealment issues negate the armour and HP. The 12km torpedos are fun to spam, but not reliable. Fuel Smoke has some interesting uses; itโs also the reason I donโt consider Trento to be bad. Just know if used offensively, the goal should be to reach cover as it ends or destroy the ship spotting it.
Hopefully the upcoming SAP buff will help the Trento in its flank hunting playstyle, but I expect the Genova to still be the better ship because of T5 matchmaking.
TLDR: Trento is the least stealthy cruiser in T6 matchmaking. Genova is the 2nd stealthiest 203mm armed cruiser in T5 matchmaking and gets to overmatch lots of stuff.
