Miya Kazuki doesn't seem like to type of person to throw in random details or feats of magic for the sake of fantasy and just leave it unexplained. Everything else in this series has been carefully planned.
Also this scene was included in the anime after the LN has been long since developed. June of 2020 is when season 2 of the anime came out, and on June 10th, 2020, volume 23 of the Japanese LN was published. P5V2. So we're pretty deep into the series at this point.
The point I'm making is that if this was a detail she halfheartedly added in the beginning of the story just because she felt like it then later decided it didn't fit the story. She wouldn't have put it in the anime right? So there's got to be some kind of explanation that she's hiding from us. The author has mostly established this series as being one where everything is planned.
I don't really care if the explanation is very sophisticated or not. I just really hope there is something to the event, and isn't left hanging forever. Chekov's gun and all that.

Looking back to when myne first encounters a trombe lutz says that it was earlier then it should be it grew faster then normal and the ground around it was fine meaning it probable sucked up some of mynes mana
I think its so cool that i think 3 books before we find out the truth of the trombe there are already stuff about it from so early on
I am wondering if the web novel eventually goes into greater detail about the world's ecology especially as it pertains to the lifecycle of Trombe. I don't necessarily want the answers to these questions; just a yes/no as to whether it ends up in the story (since I am enjoying reading the Light Novel as it comes out).
Where do the fey creatures and plants come from: Is this a planar cosmology, or are they organisms that were modified by nobles at some point in the past, or do all the organisms of the world count as fey? (seems like the pigs aren't fey)
Are trombe and parue different stages of the same plant?
Does Trombe have a cap on how much it can grow and what happens when it achieves that stage?
What natural process reverses the damage of a trombe if the Knight's Order doesn't prevent them?

Bit lean on the action, but this isn't an action show. The super smooth animation when Myne was getting nommed by the new trombe was beautiful, at least.
It's supposed to be a happy show, but the implications that a high-mana person bleeding = instant trombe can get dark. If cities are at war, fly over the city on a griffin and drop a noble into the middle of the city. Splat. Instant super trombe.
Good episode, though, with some actual danger and conflict surrounding Myne. It's good that Ferdinand threw the book at them, including the captain. Fuckups like that could actually kill people. Imagine if Ferdinand hadn't been there to correct Chiciwhatshisface's mistake. They would've had a Myne-fueled super Trombe muching away at the surrounding mana, and then everything would go to hell.
Maybe if we're lucky Trombe will override Twitter.
Now that the hell event is drawing to a close so demon invite farming isn't a factor I think it's worth noting that Grandine and Trombe power plants are 7 fp to rush compared to Salamander's 8 fp and contain 4 Oblivion meteor boxes, the same number as Salamander.
So assuming the droprates are the same it's more efficient to do Trombe or Grandine for pure Oblivion meteors. Of course it's a different story if you also want a hybrid Data Chip farm.
As the titled says, can a trombe wall system concept be used in a roof scenario? In other words, if a low slope roof is constructed of a thermal mass such as concrete and is covered in a glazed material with an air gap, can a thermal mass roof be used to store heat and radiate the heat to a space directly below?
