A list of puns related to "Triple Click"
Hello, I'm a fairly recent KDE user (installed Kubuntu as my dual boot only a few weeks ago), so far the experience has been a lot smoother than all my other Linux forays, and I really like how I can find pretty much anything I would ever want/need in the settings menu, even if it does take a bit sometimes due to the sometimes strange categorization.
One thing I haven't found however is the option to change the delay between mouse presses before they get registered as a double-click or a triple-click. This is really annoying because often times when I want to search a term up, I double-click it and drag it onto my browser's tab bar (used to doing it in Windows), but I'm used to clicking pretty fast, so what usually happens is instead of being able to drag the selected word I end up selecting the whole line of text instead because the system picks it up as a triple-click.
I'd like to lower the amount of time that needs to pass between clicks in order for the system to register a multi-click. Tried looking it up but didn't find anything, so I figured I'd try asking here. My KDE Plasma version is 5.22.5, if that's of any relevance. Sorry if it's a dumb question, maybe there is a setting for it somewhere in the menus, but if there is, I didn't manage to find it.
So Iβve recently picked the Sims 3 back up after a few years of not playing due to the fact that I now have a iMac instead of Windows PC. It was playing great for the past week, but suddenly yesterday when I loaded the game I couldnβt click anywhere (including on the load save file screen) without triple clicking on whatever I was targeting.
Additionally the day prior, my game crashed like 5 times in live mode when I was walking into rabbitholes, maybe I was moving too fast or there was too much activity in that part of town for the Mac to keep up with.
Are there any fixes for the triple clicking issue, have any of you guys ran into that too?
I thought about deleting cache files, but Iβm not super savvy and donβt know which cache files I should be deleting. Should it literally be anything ending in .cache?
Any insight is greatly appreciated!
Iβll just go back to TS4 in the meantime lol
You might have to go to settings and set your lock button to do the triple click short cut. Canβt remember if mine was already set to do it. But, Iβve been loving night mode before bed and wanted to share!
I haven't figured out a way to quickly access the alarm: am I missing out some shortcut?
Is there any tweak or trick for activator to simulate triple click home button so that i can activate guided access without using the real home button?

I have never listened to a Triple Click regular episode (I'm not that into video games) but I am 80% done with their 2021 bonus content and I'm super impressed. Their discussions about life, love, perservering in the face of global disaster, whether you are the same person after being transported, separating the art from the artist et cetera, are so interesting and thoughtful. I really liked Maddy's appearance on JJGO as well. These folks have got good heads on their shoulders, and I guess I'm gonna have to try listening to Triple Click to see if it speaks to a "casual" like myself.
Playing rocket league and the auto double tap really kills my plays in a lot of moments
Wish there was a sticky for all the hacks / tips for the pro...
Since installing 15.1, triple clicking on the right AirPod enables Siri. I first thought this was a bug, but it also happens on macOS and after fully resetting them.
However I couldn't find anyone mentioning this at all, so I really want to know if anyone else on 15.1 is experiencing this. I want to disable it, but there is no option to do so anywhere
Title says it all. We video call a lot of family and my 1 year old is constantly closing the app/ending the call.
Upgraded to 21.10 last week and so far it's been fine aside from a bit of glitchiness here and there. Otherwise I'm not seeing much difference from 21.04.
Except...
Double-clicking on Chrome's title bar does not work. A triple click is required, which is a pain. Saw someone on /r/fedora post the same thing after an upgrade which included Gnome 40.
Anyone else on 21.10 seeing this issue and know of any workarounds? For now I mostly have to remember to press the maximize/restore button, instead, for Chrome.
While I'm posting - my only other minor annoyance w/21.10 is that when you first log in, you are presented with the Activities view - is there any way to disable that and just get the plain desktop?
Edit: Found this extension to disable the activities/overview on login: https://extensions.gnome.org/extension/4099/no-overview/
Edit 2: Chromium and Brave also have the same issue which is no surprise since they are all Chromium based. Firefox works as expected.
So I've had this problem for a while but headset triple-clicking is not working and does not go to the previous track instead it just replays the current track. The double headset button skips 2 tracks instead of one. If the triple headset button is unticked the double button works fine but now I can't go to the previous track is there some way to fix this?
Couldnβt find if this had been posted before. I love keeping my phone in greyscale, but sometimes when viewing a photo someone sends me itβs nice to toggle it off so I can see the colors properly. This is a pain to do through the settings but you can use the Accessibility triple click of the side button to quickly toggle it on and off!
Turn on greyscale : Settings > accessibility > display & text size > color filters > click greyscale
Add it to triple click : Settings > accessibility > accessibility shortcut (at the bottom) > click Color Filters
Now triple clicking the side button will toggle greyscale on and off
