Hola a todos, primero que nada gracias por todos los comments del primer post, me dieron muchas ideas (y confianza) para mandarle pa' delante con el tema del encare.

Finalmente hoy me digné a preguntarle el nombre aprovechando que todavía me dura el pedo de anoche, asi que voy a tratar de transcribir detalles más detalles menos cómo fue el diálogo:

Lo que si me pareció fue que se sintió un toque incómoda y quizás porque no se lo esperaba, hoy no me siguió con la mirada cuando salía del local como siempre pasaba antes de preguntarle el nombre.

Voy a proceder a la fase 3, jugarla long, ahora que ya se cómo se llama voy a tratar de no darle tanta importancia unos días y cuando menos se lo espere ZAS papelito con mi ig.

As a man who lives out of a Redwing offshore bag for months at a time for work, I thought OneBag Travel would come easy to me, after all I was a rabidly zealous member of the Evangelical church of /r/Ultralight hiking, and after racking up tens of thousands of Airline miles with united for work, I was all too familiar with the pains of airport travel an luggage carousels.

So, I did my research. Watched YouTube reviews over different packs and backpacks. The Outbreaker 35L seemed like a perfect fit for me. If you're about to quit reading, I'll let you off here with the Verdict: This pack is influencer bait, and I am incredibly unsatisfied.

The first thing you'll notice about the bag, is that it's quite heavy. It clocks in at a smidge over 4 and a half pounds. The larger 45L clocks in at a hair over 5 pounds. That's the equivalent of strapping a starving infant on your back. My tent and sleeping pad for hiking come in much lighter than this combined. That's also potentially a third of the weight limit on certain Asian airlines, so if you intend to pack a laptop or camera with you while running this as your luggage, you're utterly and royally screwing yourself.

Aside from that, the construction seemed solid, right away I recognized the material as a quite stylish black VX21, a pretty common choice for /r/MYOG enthusiasts for fabric on Ultralight packs, specifically roll top packs. There's a reason for this, and I'll delve into it. VX21 is a relatively cheap fabric, carbon neutral, and most importantly is relatively lightweight and waterproof. Unlike other materials that are similarly popular in the community e.g. DCF, VX21 is actually relatively easy to work with and long lasting. Most packs made with this material or related fabrics from XPAC, like my go to recommendation for people who want to dip their toes into the realm of UL Backpacking: the Dan Durston X Drop 40L (VX07), are roll top, due to the limitations on the material, and roll-tops just being the gold standard in ultralight hiking for functionality purposes.

The main limitation on this type of fabric, is that it's a laminate. It's not just one material, it's actually a combination of several materials pressed together to achieve an optimum balance of weight, weather resistance, and abrasion resistance. Not sure if this is the right place for this, but I’m from the UK and looking at going to either Country Thunder or Tortuga in April, love both line ups so not bothered about that but wondering if anyone has been to both and can tell me which they preferred. Camping side of it looks fun & so leaning towards Country Thunder, but it looks messy as hell - which scares me but also attracts me 👀 haha

Hello, for some context, i live in the caribbean and just had hawksbill turtle meat, i thought it was weird to eat it so after i ate it i googled if it was edible and now im seeing that its dangerous,should i induce vomiting ? im scared

for some context i am 20 yrs old, race hispanic, weight 180 pounds and no pre existing conditions

Hello All!!

So me and my friend group were planning on attending Tortuga this year and recently saw the tickets were sold out. We also noticed that there were no daily passes and only 3-day passes which I find very weird. Does anyone have any experience with this festival? Is this common and will there be more tickets to come? Potentially single day passes to come? Any information would be fantastic!
