A list of puns related to "Tie Down Hardware"
If I was looking to buy from a brick and mortar store where should I start looking?
Also I have heard torklift is the best do you recommend any other products?
What are the kind called tht come out between the cab and bed at about door handle height? Iβve heard good things there as well.
Thanks for the advice!
Hey everyone - id really appreciate any advice on what to do here as Iβm at a complete loss and devastatedβ¦
A bit of a backstory: I bought my first home in February. It needed full mechanicals redone and itβs literally my life savings going into it (and then someβ¦). The windows needed to be replaced for a pretty large price tag of 22k. I did all the workβ¦measured out the sizes mapped that to the exact Marvin codes etc. β all the guy at the hardware store needed to do is place the order with Marvin. At the time when I ordered it was a 9-10wk lead time which put delivery as the week of 9/20 based on my mid July order date with the store sales rep. I had written confirmation the windows were ordered as well as emails every week or two with the rep telling me we were still on track for 9/20 delivery, I have a full paper trail because it was so critical for me to be able to move in and I wanted to monitor the progress closely.
The week of 9/20, I email him to check in and he says theyβll get in to their warehouse in 2 days, when do I want to schedule delivery. When I get back to him to confirm, he goes radio silentβ¦nothing for two weeks. I send maybe 4-5 separate emails following upβ¦nothing. Finally, yesterday, 10/4 I call the actual store and after 2 hours of personal investigation I learn that the actual eta for the windows is mid December becauseβ¦.wait for itβ¦the sales rep didnβt actually place the order with the manufacturer, Marvin, until 9/21. On top of this he didnβt ever get in touch with me over those two weeks to explain the issue. Iβve gotten the store Gm involved and the best he is offering me is a 20% discount. At this point I donβt have a ton of options β weβve literally removed the old windows in preparation for framing out the new sizes so the house isnβt even properly sealed going into the winter. But basically the store is telling me I can take the 20% discount or walk away (they know that if I go anywhere else it would actually take longer because they already put in the order two weeks ago without telling me).
My question is β what would you do here? Can I sue them for compensatory damages for all the extra costs to now properly board up the house for winter or the cost for me to live elsewhere for 2 months (among other things)? This is a huge amount of money for me and I canβt believe this one persons massive error is something they are expecting me to carry the burden of exclusivelyβ¦what would you do? Any advice would be much apprecia
... keep reading on reddit β‘For Windows and k33 users: Please consider using v1.1.0 for now. v2.0.0 turned out to contain bugs that make farming unstable on Windows. k33 plots sometimes fail. We will fix all bugs and release v2.0.1 in one or two days. Apologies for the inconvenience!
Hi everyone weβve made the best farmer even better with FlexFarmer 2.0. Along with improving our farmer and solving some of the issues weβve written an entirely new Proof of Space in Go. Our PoS corrects a lot of the bugs and duplications in the Chia C++ PoS while improving everything overall. This results in a significant improvement in lookup times of more than 2x for those running low to mid range hardware (or even high end if we are talking about really large farms). Also this will greatly reduce problems caused by the C++ PoS. Weβve also expanded support to almost all devices including 32 bit ones (details below).

A better PoS also results in a better farming process with less bugs, less stress on your HDD, less power use, less data transfer, and thus increased lifespan for your HDD. Disk I/O running the old PoS often spikes causing over 200 io/s in reads on the HDD. This has been solved in our PoS as can be seen in the comparisons below from one of our testers. I/O usage has been greatly reduced and we do not experience spikes which are bad for your drive long term. Weβve also seen 0.05 Watts or more in power reduction per a drive and a couple hundred Watts in power reduction for the main PC. Even a slight power decrease long term leads to savings and better heat regulation.

Additional notes are below. Please note that FlexFarmer isnβt just a node-less farmer itβs a finely tuned farming program meant to greatly improve farming profits, reliability, and experience while improving the sustainability of farming by reducing your power/hardware costs while making the equipment last longer. FlexFarmer 2.0 is our second step towards a full replacement of the Chia GUI with a greatly improved farmer, plotter, wallet, and node bundled together. The current Python node is locked at 30%. Looking for bed mount tie down point ideas. Like D-rings or something adjustable on tracks that mount directly to the floor of the bed. The goal is to better secure smaller items. I don't like having to span a strap across the entire width of the bed. Thanks.
