A list of puns related to "Thalapathi"
Namathu kazhagathin irandu puthu thalapathigalaaga Kongunattu Chakaravarthy /u/Mushroomfry_throw mattrum Ayal nattu Prechaara Beerangi /u/rifinwono4 iruvaraiyum varuga varuga ena anbu aadharavudan Vara verkkirom.
So there was the scene where the girl ( Asin) was harrassed by some goons and then the "God" Thalapathy arrived and gave her gyaan about how a should dress
His words were "Tumhaare badan par kitne til hai ye dikhane k liye ye sab phenti ho , dekho bhagwaan nai ladka ladki banaye hai jo ek doosre k kaam aate hai. Unhone to hume bana diya ab yaha izzat se zina hamara kaam hai. Agar esa kapde phen k ghoomogi to poora mohalla tumhare piche pad jayega. Agar ek acchi ladki ki tarah saree phen k aogi to poora samaj tumhari izzat krega"
And I was speechless as this guy is probably the biggest Tamil superstar currently. And some south Indian fans troll bollywood on Instagram and twitter
Patriarchy in South industry is just too much
Does vijay have a chance to shine if he makes his bollywood debut soon? Atleast as an actor who will be received well by bollywood audience? Apart from Dhanush and Vijay sethupathi, Thalapathy Vijay was one of the very few actors whose films were atleast noticed in North after Rajnikanth's films. His recent films like Theri, Mersal, Bigil and Master did a decent - good performance in North India and could also see north indian people finding his films more entertaining than other actors movies. (Note. It could be a average film too, still i see a lot comments from north people in the hindi dubbed version of his movies in youtube).
Ofcourse "Master" was an average film, but the movie gained a lot attention throughout India as it was the only movie to be released in Jan post COVID shutdown, still being a usual normal budget movie it did get good reception in north. I got too see a interview of Karan Johar in film companion south channel during 2.0 release as he had the Hindi release rights of the film. He was saying Sarkar teaser created a wave in his office and everyone were speaking about the teaser, is this normal for any Tamil film in north?
Vijay just entered the Telugu film industry with his upcoming 66th film by a Telugu director. Yeah, he did a cameo in Rowdy Rathore song with prabhudeva and Akki. Should he also try bollywood movies? If yes, how's the name or market or reception he has now in bollywood?
Note : Being a Vijay fan, i accept that he's not an extraordinary actor or something. He's a good entertaining actor and maybe one of the best in business who gives entertaining films with a good performance.

>According to reports in a leading daily, we hear Salman Khan will announce two projects soon and that one of them is the remake of Tamil hit film Master starring Thalapathy Vijay and Vijay Sethupathi. The film which released earlier this year was a hit and had the two big stars of South cinema locking horns on the big screen. Salman Khan will play the role of Thalapathy Vijay in the film and it is said that the makers are already searching for a big name to lock horns with Bhaijaan on 70mm. A trade source tells the daily that Salman Khan loved Master. βSalman was excited about the movie and agreed to do it in principle. But things did not progress swiftly due to the lockdown. Now, the producers will meet him again to discuss the minor tweaks in the script, the possible dates for the shoot and the director.β
