He mentioned something about several pages and spreads from the latter being 1:1 copies from the former. I've read both of them and while it has been about ten years, I can't think of what he's talking about.
He also said something about how their names are synonyms for each other as evidence, but both phrases are fairly common in martial-arts stories, have different implications. Tenjo Tenge is more of an egotistical boast, while Ikki Tousen is more akin to the domineering presence you are said by others to have.
