A list of puns related to "Team Effectiveness"
Started with a 4231 and have been doing well but due to injuries etc I had to swap to a 433 for a bit. I found that I really liked the way they played with 433.
Im curious to see what works best but don't really have any clue how to get an actual answer (based on fact and stats, not just feeling)
I'm obviously flexible depending on the opponent and tactics required but as a standard formation I'd love an answer.
This is by no means me saying that care for the environment shouldn't be followed, as I find that our greatest treasure we have as a species is in the world we have around us, but I'm a bit skeptical about this project's effectiveness at completing it's goal.
Off the bat, I look at the goal of 30 million pounds to be absurdly low, if the estimate of 200 million tons of plastic in the ocean is correct. From what I see, that 30 million pound goal wouldn't be able to breech one-tenthousandth of the the current problem, much less the 11 million tons added each year. Are there currently any plans known to drastically increase these numbers?
Is the $30 million target by January unreasonable? Mostly basing this in comparison to the Team Trees project, where although it has been around for over 2 years now, it has only reached around $23 million, and has seemingly in my experience all but faded from major attention.
Will the breakdown of all funding spent be released to the public? Although I have faith in this non-profit and its morals, I for one would feel more confident about making a donation if I could see that all the money has been spent completely appropriately, having seen other less than ethical non-profits exploit the donations for personal gain instead.
I apologize for this post to those that would be upset by it, but I feel these questions are worth asking if I'm going to seriously consider donating to what seems like a decent cause. Thank you for your time.
So, from what i've seen from studies, the average trash dumped into the ocean per year is about 14 to 17 billion pounds.
The goal will most likely take a month to complete, but by then the trash removed would've already been replaced + a ton more.
Even if it took a second to complete and then took a second to immediately use that money to clean 30m pounds of trash, in only a few days that trash will have been replaced again.
Also, please don't mistake this for a "This is DUMB! we don't need to care about the environment, IT'S USELESS AND A WASTE OF MONEY!1111!!111" post, this is just me asking if this is truly effective or not.
I'm not so good with this stuff, but would it not be better to use that money to figure out a better more cost-effective less labour-intensive method? something more long term, since (well if i'm being dumb here then maybe not) this is just a very very short term solution, no?
I'm sorry if this was a very dumb post, if it was one feel free to downvote.
I just really need to know.
I play a fair number of champions with global or semi-global abilities, and one mistake I notice a lot of people making is expecting these abilities to be stronger than they actually are. People really love to spam ping my r after a fight because they think that it would have made the difference, and because of how common this is I thought I would make a post pointing out some examples.
Nocturne is a great example of a champion with a semi-global that is VERY semi. The range on rank one Nocturne ult is from mid turret to blue buff. If Nocturne is sitting at the blast plant between blue buff and the sidelane, he will only be able to ult about half way into the lane. Basically, if your Nocturne isn't right next to you, he probably won't be able to ult to the play before walking a while.
Karthus ult is another great example. Early game it has a super long cooldown, and you want to make sure that it's going to net you resources. However, a lot of people expect it to do way more damage than it does. Rank 1 Karthus ult does 200 damage +75%ap. Post-mitigation it will be doing between 100 and 150 damage. Early game Karthus ult is not the same as the late game Karthus ult that does 1/2 of their hp.
Lastly, Shen. Shen ult is best used to make proactive plays that net advantages, because securing an objective or a few kills is more of a gold swing than preventing one death. If you're forcing your Shen to use his ult to save you, don't be surprised if he doesn't. Not only is it not the best use for such a long cooldown ultimate, but it also doesn't provide that much shielding early game (maybe about 300 if you're low hp and he has some bonus health), so there's a pretty good chance you'll die anyways.
This extends to most champions with global or semi-global abilities. Because they have strong upsides, these abilities are normally balanced by lower numbers, or a range that isn't truly global. So unless your teammate is communicating to you that their ult is useful here, it's risky to consider it a get-out-of-jail-free card. They might not use it, or they might use it without being able to save the play.
Namely muunilinst 10
Furthermore, there are 3 roles of arcs in legends. Arc trooper teams like muunilinst 10, serving as generals like Alpha-17, and doing solo work behind the lines, which Iβm not familiar with but have heard people mention.
Which role was most common?
Additionally, what was Alpha-17βs purpose as a general supporting anakin and obiwan when there are already born and bred clone officers
