Mysterious ancient caves of the Maijishan Grottoes. The mountain is formed of purplish red sandstone. The sandstone is reported not to be indigenous but instead of unknown origin. It is also unknown where the statues were made, or how they were hauled up into the caves.

Northern part
Southern part
One of my favorite map seeds ever. The map has only one entrance (East), otherwise completely surrounded by mountain and coast. The open buildable area goes west then northwards to a big open area.

Weird seed, i know.
This seed looks great. Has a western peninsula (from Coastlines mod) and a mountain on the east, spawn is in that mountain-surrounded spot which i assume is great for defense. And there is a big ruin (from Misc. MapGenerator mod) nearby that can be used as a starting base right at the start with a large rich soil patch around it.
Mods that may affect generation: Misc. MapGenerator, More Vanilla Biomes, Coastlines, Biomes! Islands (not sure about that one)
Enjoy the seed and please point out if i missed something.

What kind of mineral is it ? I found these stones on the banks of the Cheremosh River (Ukraine, Carpathian Mountains) and on the Prut River (also Ukrainian Carpathians) a few years ago. The stone is heavier than ordinary sandstone.

[1.2][Royalty] [seed:"town"] [30%] [3.88N 4.42E] [YRG] [Marble/Slate/Sandstone] [Mountains] Valley in the middle surrounded by mountain.
This is the link to the map
You start in the middle, if you go top just above some wall ruins and dig to the left approximately 10 tiles from the shortest distance you will find the valley.
Inside there are 2 geyser and a decent patch of rich soil.
Avoid digging top left from the valley or you will discover 2 zones: The second one will be another entrance to the map.
There is an ancient danger bottom right in the wall outside the valley.
The map is next to a road.

Thought this map looked interesting so decided to share. There are 2 areas, each separated by a huge river. The south area has a large pocket with a small entrance. I'm not sure if the mod Coastlines is necessary, but the Map Reroll mod is, since I had to reroll to find it. You can find it on Page 4 on the Upper Right.

There is a steam geyser in the pocket, and an ancient danger right next to the pocket entrance. The Anima tree is on the north side of the river though.
