A list of puns related to "Stuff Media"
I donβt know why I remain shocked but I am.
My practice has 200 kids booked in on Monday for paediatric Pfizer vaccines. I ordered these vaccines as soon as they became available to on the Vaccine Operation Centre (VOC).
I received an email on Friday 24/12/2021 saying that there would be a delay in the paediatric Pfizer vaccines for SOME practices. It didnβt specify which practices these included so I called the VOC to confirm that my order would still be coming on the date I set my delivery to.
I was assured that the vaccines would be arriving THIS WEEK and they havenβt arrived. At 2pm this afternoon I was extremely concerned that my vaccines hadnβt arrived so I decided to call the VOC to find out what was going on. I called 4 different times and was placed on hold for over 40+ minutes at a time, only to be hung up on as soon as I was connected to an operator. This happened 4 fucking times, and one of my nurses tried calling an additional 3 times with the same happening to her as well.
One of my doctors, who has connections with the delivery couriers, called and asked them when we could be expecting our delivery. They told him that it would come between the 10th and the 12th of January. Our delivery is never specified on an exact date by the VOC or the delivery couriers. All they say is that itβll be delivered from, say for example, βMonday 03/01/2022 to Friday 07/01/2022β which was exactly what it says on my order.
I now have to spend my weekend calling 200 parents to inform them that their children will have to receive their vaccines at a later date because the government is so incompetent that they canβt get anything right with the vaccine rollout.
Iβm so beyond furious and upset that this continues to happen. Not only that, I was just told that apparently on 7 News, a reporter said that all the practices who ordered their paediatric vaccines before the cut off have received them this week. The practices who didnβt order before the cut off have not received them and will receive them at a later date.
The fucking news has no business spreading inaccurate, misleading, and bullshit information. I ordered as soon as it became available to order on the VOC, was guaranteed that it would be delivered this week when I called them on Christmas Eve, and yet Iβm fucked over once again because this governmentsβ incompetence never ceases to end.
Iβm sorry this post isnβt really anything of use, itβs just an extreme rant that Iβve got nowhere else to let o
... keep reading on reddit β‘Just Passed 6 gas stations in Vancouver today and all were open and Gas is down 3 cents/L in fact.
Went to a grocery store, only slightly less of some things as it was noon and they are probably still restocking from the weekend's craziness. Nowhere near what we had during the great covid hoard of 2020.
All said - don't get your fomo / hoarding pants on folks - the supply chain is doing fine in Vancouver. If you are in a place that's low on essentials - its worth the trip to come here.
Edit: I know I said "our community" but since people are coming at me, I meant AEW as a whole... The Reddit community actually seems pretty chill most times, even if I don't agree with something.
Edit 2: I respect and appreciate the mod's position. I do not agree with this post being locked considering the topics being discussed and my original focus, but I understand the reasoning.

What I mean by this, is you're having a good time and really enjoying things but at some point it turns it up to a level you didn't think possible.
999 and VLR have this. The first 75% is great in 999 but once you've started on the final leg of the game towards the best ending things get crazy and amazing
Steins;Gate both the anime and VN. It starts of as a fun slice of life until a certain point in the story and then it takes OFF.
For example, the NyQuil commercials used to have adults tell their kids that they wanted a sick day from being parents. The most egregious example was the dad that didnβt want to walk his daughter down the aisle on her wedding day because he was sick. Then NyQuil had the audacity to say βMoms / Dads donβt take sick daysβ¦β
Then there are the numerous comics and sitcoms that make fun of the βstrong work ethicβ of employees going to work sick and bosses taking away paid sick leave to save money. So youβre forced to plod on to work because, βhey, itβs just a sniffle.β
And parents force their kids to go to school sick because they watched too many shows where the kid faked being sick to get out of school, thus making the parents believe that their own kids are faking.
If anything, the pandemic has shown us how toxic the βstrong work ethicβ can be.
To anyone who lost someone because of covid, I really feel for you right now. Itβs hard enough with the holidays being right around the corner, but now thereβs this new super contagious variant going around. Every day I hear about this fucking Omicron variant. I cannot stand hearing stuff about covid all the time. I lost my mom to covid and watched the ventilator pump her lifeless body with air after she took her last breaths. Sometimes it feels like Iβm back there in that room and itβs happening all over again. So panicked, lost, and flooded with grief. FUCK COVID. I will always remember this pandemic as the thing that took her away from me.
The last novel for a series I write for is coming out in a few months and I know the moment it drops I'll be buying it. Without a doubt within a day or so of reading it I will be writing and posting fanfiction for it, but I've never been in this situation where I'm writing for brand new media before. How vague should I be in those fics descriptions? I really don't want to spoiler it for others who don't want to be spoiled! Advice?
(Muv Luv Alternative) >!Main character has a really well written case of PTSD!<
(Berserk) >!Guts is a really great example of a rape survivor, and how the trauma effects someone!<
Any other examples like that?
I know all related to copyright notices and trolls is country-dependent, but I wonder if there are some general rules for this.
I am in a couple of private trackers but from what I am learning, it's very difficult to keep a good ratio because the seeding is so slow. So I am considering using a public tracker as well, but from what I have read it makes it more likely that you end up with one of these copyright letters. I am not sure how copyright trolls cannot infiltrate private trackers, it cannot be that difficult making it into a 50k-sized community, but this is probably a side question.
My main question is, is there an optimal division of work for public and private trackers? Is it more likely to get coypright letters if you download very popular, modern media, such as new movies, with respect to downloading, let's say, movies from before the 90s? Or there's no such difference?
My hypothesis is based on the assumption that most of the profits produced by modern media lie ahead in time, while for old media, that has already been in the movies and only makes occasional sells in DVDs and streaming, most profit has already been produced (unless when a relatively forgotten movie suddenly acquires some kind of cult, but these are outliers). But it's just a guess and I don't have any practical knowledge on the matter.
If so Tell me in the comments. Also. do you feel like they sound like they think theyβre better because theyβre older?
I'm not a tanky, but I think most people are at least somewhat familiar with Uyghur fighters padding out ISIS's foreign fighter roster and the relationship Tibetans exiles have had with the CIA and other relevant organizations; if you're in a major city in the US, you've likely seen fliers for Falun Gong-related media. Something like Qanon could only have popped up in a unfettered social media environment, and I can only assume that from a Chinese perspective that the US was unable and still is unable to crack down on Q-adjacent beliefs is a sign of complete and total 'weakness' in it's ability to express authority.
I loved this series - mostly because it was an important story I felt like I should know but previously just never got my head around.
i rarely respond to stuff she sends, however she keeps sending me tiktoks or sliding up on my stories. does this mean she likes me, or is using me for attention?
