A list of puns related to "Stephen M. Ross"
There's plenty of blame to go around. But until we can collectively agree this team will never have long term success until Stephen Ross sells, we're wasting our time on bickering over band aid fixes.
What's the most egregious Ross offense in your mind?
For those of you who do not know, Stephen M. Ross is a businessman and the owner of the Miami Dolphins. He is a Michigan grad, our business school is named after him, and he has told our school that money will not be a problem when hiring a new coach. He has since become a supporter of Harbaugh to Michigan.
As far as Harbaugh, if he does come to Michigan, it is very probable that he will not stay there forever. In a perfect world, he comes to Ann Arbor and rebuilds the program. We become a serious team again that beats MSU and OSU, competes for the Big Ten Championship, and maybe in a few years, competes for playoff spots. But then what? It would make sense that Harbaugh could go back to the NFL. Unless he's winning Nattys every year, what's the incentive to not go back and compete for a Superbowl ring since he has almost won it in the past? Hell, if he does come to Michigan this year, it could simply be to wait somewhere until a better team than the Raiders or Jets need a coach. Giants, Seahawks, and Patriots will need a new coach within a few years due to their elderly coaches. So it is definitely questionable if Harbaugh will stay at Michigan for a long time.
So where does Stephen M. Ross come back into this? He has vocally supported the building of a new team in LA in the past. He has stated that he would like to see a team there and maybe even build one there himself. The current coaching situation presents a perfect situation for Ross. If Harbaugh goes to Michigan, not only is Ross getting one of the best coaches out of the league that he competes in, but he will also be able to establish a financial and personal relationship with Harbaugh. In a few years time, that relationship could become even more professional if Ross were to build a team in LA. He would need a coach out there. Why not the coach he knows well now at his alma mater? Harbaugh to LA could be a potential move. Or even Harbaugh to Dolphins.
So, should Michigan want a coach that has had this much success in the NFL? The first few years with him could be great, as we will hopefully see our program get rebuilt. But in the long run, the Wolverines could potentially be left in the dust by our coach and possibly one of our biggest donors. We could very well be looking for a new coach again in 5 or 6 years. Therefore, would it not be more stable and beneficial to hire a very good college coach that has already tested the NFL or does not have enough NFL potential than to get a hell

Here's mine : "How does this happen? We had to win 1 out of the last 2 against divisional rivals who are worse than us and you can't pull it off? What value do you bring to my miami dolphins? why should I even give you a chance to redeem yourself after a collapse like that? I hope you the best of luck in your future endeavors but you both will no longer be apart of this franchise..
