Empty: Meditations on Phi, Anasazi, and Shakuhachi Flutes is an album of instrumental music by Paul Kara Ross released in 2014. It features work on a variety of instruments, including the Phi, or "Golden Ratio Flute".

Kara Ross is a Seattle area multi-instrumentalist specializing in Native American, Celtic and New Age music. Paul currently plays Native American, Pueblo (Anasazi and Mojave), Xiao and Shakuhachi flutes, Irish uilleann pipes and whistles, bouzouki, mandolin, classical guitar, and several types of electric basses as solo instruments. Paul had the honor of playing the first Phi Zeta flute ever created, an instrument designed from the Fibonacci Spiral or Golden Ratio Equation.

Love Note: Recently become interested in flutes, as the simple column of air and singular construction of pieces like the shakuhachi lead to easy production and interesting, timeless sounds. These are human sounds and have been made for thousands of years. Paul Kara Ross follows in that tradition.

After some of my shit-posting of late (Joselu, Loch Ness Drogba, Bronze Gauseth Beatdowns) I’ve been getting a heap of messages asking just how to utilise the big bois up top. So… here’s some handy tips on how to forget the meta and use these dinosaurs.

Basic tips:

1. They’re not Neymar. Don’t dribble with them, basically ever. Maybe if it’s Arnautovic, or WW Ibra (refer to list of strikers at the end of this post) you can get away with it, but in general just don’t do it. If they’re in a position to shoot, just full send it. If they’re not, play the safest pass possible as soon as they get it (preferably in the direction they’re facing), and continue your build up play. It’s also good to do L1+X passes with them if they're far from goal, to make sure they run into the box for the potential cross.
2. They’re not Neymar. No seriously. Don’t skill with them. No ball rolls. No spins. None of them can do elasticos (except Ibra, but most of us plebs can’t afford WW Ibra). Shoot, pass, head the ball through the back of the net, move on. You have to treat them as though they are invalids, totally incapable of doing anything with the ball other than shoot, and stick to that.
3. Headers are full manual - Where you aim is pretty much exactly where it goes (give or take a little discrepancy for your players Header Accuracy stat). Once you score a few, you'll understand where to aim in certain situations. Requires a little practice and a some trial and error, but once it clicks for you'll get it. You need to slightly pre-empt where you think you’re going to make contact with the header, and what the angle to goal looks like, and aim early. Don’t over do it with the power either, the sweet spot is usually about 2 bars of power.
4. Balanced instructions - Set them to stay forward, everything else balanced. No get in behind, because we don't want them aimlessly bombing forward all the time. No target man, as that makes them do dumb shit. Just balanced.

I don't want to step on anybody's toes here, but the amount of non-dad jokes here in this subreddit really annoys me. First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.

Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.

For context I'm a Refuse Driver (Garbage man) & today I was on food waste. After I'd tipped I was checking the wagon for any defects when I spotted a lone pea balanced on the lifts.
