A list of puns related to "Starbucks Refresher"
I always tell customers if I can guess if they're ordering a refresher for a child that they're caffeinated and today I had a couple and a small child order a pink drink, once I told them it was caffeinated (I guessed 70mg) they were horrified.
The mother has been avoiding caffeine for 5 years and had a breast feeding mom's page recommend pink drinks, not sure if they didn't know it contained caffeine or not, a Google search leads me to believe a small amount is okay, but the way it's advertised on our menu "Tea and Refreshers" can be confusing because many confuse it for teas. I think just having them separated or something could help and having a * with text at the bottom saying "contains caffeine" can help. Idk. What do y'all think?
Edit: I can honestly see both sides. Customers should do more research or ask what they're drinking, after I told them it contained caffeine the father looked it up on the website and confirmed it, so they knew how to look.
But also how would you know? Sure Starbucks is a coffee shop but there's a lot of non-coffee drinks. Strawberries and cream shakes, vanilla beans, hot chocolate, lemonade... etc: while it's advertised with tea it wouldn't be too much of a stretch for someone to think this brightly colored strawberry juice tasting drink with coconut milk and strawberries in it has pure coffee extract in it, lmao.
Hi friends! Iβve been having a hard time keeping myself hydrated since the surgery and always feel like Iβm thirsty. Iβm trying different things. I had a strawberry lemonade refresher drink from Starbucks yesterday and it was one of the first things I was able to drink in its entirety. Worried though about the sugar content?
Anyone else drink these post surgery or have any suggestions that helped you get those fluids in?
As a side note, prior to surgery I was one of those people that only drank Coke Zero. Literally all day, everyday. Gross I know. I broke up with it weeks ago.
Customer: Can I get a strawberry açaà lemonade?
DTO: Iβm really sorry, but weβre out of all of our refreshers.
Customer: So what drinks do you have?
Hi everyone,
The last time that I got one of these, it didn't taste sweet like it usually does. Is there something I need to ask for so that it will taste sweet the next time that I order this? Thank you
I'd love to start making them at home and was wondering if anyone had any recipes.
I refuse to believe it but Iβve gone to five different stores and the very berry hibiscus refresher is entirely out of the berries that go in the drink. The last store I went to the barista told me that they are discontinuing the drink. I donβt like coffee and I donβt like any of the other refreshers as much as the very berry hibiscus. How do I get my caffeine fix, is it true that it is discontinuing?
if you have GP, I suggest you stay away from this. this makes me feel horrible. gas, nausea, sulfur burps, cramps. etc. I got this 4 hours ago and I drank the entire thing and oh my gosh. the pain iβm in is absolutely horrid. it almost feels like food poisoning. I love the starbucks refreshers, and thought iβd give this a try. put me in one of the worst flare ups iβve had in months!!! I know it was the culprit, too. my acid reflux tastes like it :( so if you like starbucks refreshers, stick to mango dragonfruit or strawberry aΓ§aΓ. those are safe for me, at least. but whatever you do, do not drink this! youβll feel like hell for hours!!! I have seen other people in the starbucks sub make a whole post about this.
Any starbucks employees here, or anyone have a similar recipe for it?
The strawberry-acai, very berry, and mango-dragonfruit flavorings all have caffeine. It's less than the amount in an equivalent sized coffee or espresso drink, but it's more than black tea.
I see a lot of people ordering these for their kids, or themselves while pregnant. That's totally fine, and I understand that there's an acceptable limit and some parents don't mind. But I do always wonder if they know it's not just fruit juice in there; It's not obvious from the menu!
I don't want people to feel like I am judging them so I thought I would share here and maybe stop some kids from bouncing off the walls during isolation...

Itβs basically a Tiktok with a dude explaining to the customer itβs the same drink and then at the end they complain itβs wrong because of the color. Thanks!
