Few people realize the reflective quality in cat eyes increases proportionately with the size of the cat. Because of this, cats in the Savanna are hunted for their eyes to use in various crafts and remedies. When game wardens are searching for poachers, they do it at night, following the glow of the removed organs. The Eagles even referenced it in a song, hence the line "you can't hide your lion eyes".
Some of these are border-line uncle jokes. I'm also an uncle. I keep all these jokes in my dadabase. Aka Google notes.
Some of these I got off of podcasts, the dad joke API, some from movies, but most are from this sub. Let me know if you want a source for a joke or if one of them was yours I'll give credit.

So this knight decided to improve himself, night after night he would bring books to read while he stood guard. Learning languages, math, philosophy. The smarter he gets the more he realizes that he will likely leave the world and be forgotten. In his depression he turns to music, learning instrument after instrument, style after style. Using his knowledge of math to create beautiful patterns and moving songs. He learns that it is they rhythm more than anything that draws people to a song and sets his nights to finding the rhythm that will be universally loved. Now, hundreds of years after his death, people the world over still remember Sir Cadian's Rhythm.

Me: I like sushi.
Me: I like sushi.
...
Someone: Son of a gun...
Someone Else: Now you've just pistoled me off!
Okay, I know these are not the greatest puns ever, but this is my first post in this subreddit. Anyway, now here are the explanations:
Joke 1 - An alloy of carbon and iron is popularly referred to as steel, and stainless steel costs $2.41, in which the item receives a 58.51% reduction in cost, which is a mighty bargain, also known as a steal.
Joke 2 - Boxing is a sport in which your only goal is to knock your opponent out through a series of punches. The ending or twist of a joke is commonly referred to as the punchline of said joke.
Joke 3 - Check out Kendrick Lamar's DNA song.
Joke 4 - Troops and personnel of the Galactic Empire from Star Wars are commonly referred to as the Imperials.
Joke 5 - Spam musubi, or just spam, is a type of sushi. On the internet, spam is referred to as the repetition of a specific message, especially when emailing, to annoy or advertise a product/website to someone.
Joke 6 - The phrase, "Son of a gun", is a friendlier alternative to the phrase, "Son of a bitch!" Also, when you annoy someone, that means that you pissed them off, which sounds a bit like "pistoled".
"How Bizarre" by OMC was playing
Her: I swear I hear this song every time we're here.
Me: How bizarre.
Her: Just cause you're a dad now doesn't mean you can use your dad jokes on me.
My dad used to play a game with me and my brother that was, in effect, an extended dad joke.
The "beginner" version, when I was younger, was when I would be talking about something, my dad would intentionally misinterpret it so that we could correct him. The objective being to keep up the misinterpretation in as long of a chain as possible.
Me: "Dad! Top Gun is on TV!"
Dad: "Doesn't that movie have that whiny folk singer on the radio in it?"
Me: "...No, dad, that's Tom Petty, not Tom Cruise."
Dad: "Oh, I thought he was Rosanne Barr's husband?"
Me: "No, dad, that's Tom Arnold, not Tom Petty."
Dad: "Oh. I thought he was that golfer..."
Later, once I figured it out, we moved to "advanced mode", where we skip the "correction" and just prove that you catch the reference by making another error in response.
Dad: "Oh. I thought he was that golfer..." (Arnold Palmer)
Me: "...wait, I thought that was the victim in Twin Peaks?" (Laura Palmer)
Dad: "...no, you're thinking of the lady who was the actress in Jurassic Park." (Laura Dern)
And so on. Did anyone else's dad's do something like this? Or any current dads? I currently play a version of this with my wife where she'll put on the radio and I'll intentionally misinterpret the artist. (Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody is playing, I comment to the effect of "God, I love Styx. Such a great song.")
So recently there's some news of a student taking food from the community fridge that doesn't belong to them. I'm in charge of making a parody of Iggy's Azeala's song "Fancy". I want to make a joke that uses both things.
The best I can come up with is What does your food in the community fridge and the parody video have in common? It's gonna be as cool as if you found your food in the fridge.
I'm sure there's something better.

... keep reading on reddit β‘Years ago I used to use a LexisNexis database of companies that would give corporate information like name, address, and general business description. While most of them were pretty bland, there were a bunch of them with some really cheesy puns, and over a few years I built quite a collection.
Today I share with you "NEXIS IS RIDICULOUS.txt":
"Well, let me see. There's Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donner, Blitzen, Rudolf, and ... and... There are only 9 reindeer mentioned in the song."
"Nope. There's 10. You forgot 'Olive'."
"'Olive'? There's not a reindeer named 'Olive'."
"Yes there is. 'β« Olive, the other reindeer, used to laugh and call him names...β«'
Yesterday I was doing Concert practice - fairly standard for a music student, play some songs (with a band), receive some constructive criticism, if there's time, play it again, see if it improved.
So after aforementioned criticism the band and I are about to play again when one of the singers points the mic at the speaker (accidentally) and painfully loud feedback assaults our ears.
In the following silence, I commented: "That's the least useful feedback we've had all day!"
...silence.
Then approximately forty people groaning in unison, which gave way to applause for my awful dadjoke.
You know how the song goes.
"Olive, the other reindeer, used to laugh and call him names..."
