A list of puns related to "Shinjuku"
"So of course I had to Jack it up only to realize I didn't have the rest of my Ol' Kit a tools and I just kinda sat there Sima-ing for a bit. Then some dude in a new Chevy CasNero stopped and gave me a ride. Nice guy."
Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling will air its 1/20 Shinjuku FACE show live.
Those with WrestleUNIVERSE can watch the show here.
Opening bell for the event is 7:00 pm on Saturday, January 20th in Japan. That's 5:00 am Thursday, January 20th Eastern US time and 2:00 am Thursday, January 20th Pacific. (I believe itโs 10:00 am Thursday, January 20th in the U.K.)
If you are new to Tokyo Joshi and would like to know more about the promotion you can check out my "Beginner's guide to Tokyo Joshi" Itโs just slightly out of date and unfortunately all the links are now broken, however it should give you the gist of things.

Undercard:
It's time to address the Pachy R & R in the room that Neo tried it's best to never directly approach. and that Pachy R & R is the very plot device that led to TWEWY2.
Why did Haz authorize the Shinjuku Inversion? What was going on in the Shinjuku Reapers' Games (presumably) that was so absolutely abysmal that it caused the Composer to take notice and close up shop? And why, as a matter of complete "coincidence", were the events that led to the Shinjuku Inversion occuring simultaneously as the events of TWEWY? Two cities, two Reapers' Games, one proxy from the RG.
It's noted in the secret reports of Hazuki being "Shinjuku's famously unsympathetic Composer" and he himself has said to Joshua that "humans are the most irrational beings" so something tells me that he didn't initiate such a calamity on a whim. What could Haz, a being known for his disinterest in the lower planes (as noted by Mr. H in the Reports), have seen that warranted the equivalent of activating an interplanar nuke?
Uzuki brings some fuel to the speculation fire by adding "rules never meant much to the Shinjuku gang, nothing they do would surprise me at this point" when discussing the takeover of the Shinjuku Reapers. Did the Reapers have some sort of lawless Reapers' Game in Shinjuku, thus prompting Hazuki to "Sodom and Gomorrah" the whole district from the ground up? Was the Conductor of Shinjuku corrupted in some manner, thus allowing the Shinjuku Reapers to ignore the Composer's rules and erase Players for as much points as they wanted?
Correct me if I'm wrong (because I know you will), but even Mr. H never mentions in his Secret Reports exactly why Shinjuku was cleansed. Maybe the Angels don't see any relevance for a why.
Whatever the cause of Hazuki hitting the big red button, the implications were far reaching enough to spawn an entirely New Game, so I for one am thankful Shinjuku was cleansed. :^)
I feel like Shinjuku is over represented a little in anime. Not in a bad way obviously, but it just seems whenever something bad happens or thereโs an attack or mass destruction itโs always in Shinjuku. For comparison I guess American films have stuff happening in dc or New York, but Iโm ignorant of the cultural importance of Shinjuku. Is it a city similar to new York s level of โlocal fameโ or is it just a small trope in anime/manga?
