Like, it seems cool but is also seems not very good. The Reductus is probably one of our strongest ranged vehicle killers though, right? Obviously the relic wouldn't help her do that but it allows her to created markers/expose opportunities in addition to some strats.

Pokemon Unite currently has 5 types of characters: All-Arounders, Attackers, Defenders, Speedsters and Supporters. Each have a role
- All-Arounders have a balance of Offense and Endurance
- Attackers focus on damage output and KOs
- Defenders have a lot of HP, DEF and SP.DEF and have defensive abilities
- Speedsters focus on Mobility and Scoring
- Supporters focus on buffing allies and healing them
And yes I know that some if not all Pokemon kinda fit into more role.
But what about a Saboteur type? A dark side to the Supporter type where instead of buffing allies and healing them, Saboteurs focus on crippling their opponents with status ailments, lowering stats and maybe even do things like rig the goals so that if an opponent tries to score a goal, they get like a bomb or something that damages them or gives them status ailments and stat debuffs
I think it would be extremely interesting to have a Saboteur type would be interesting. I mean if used properly, you could just make life a living hell for the other team.
What do you think, should there be a Saboteur type?
So a new Warcom Articles come out including new rules for the Saboteur and Blade Champions (The Box Sets are a the new Heroes, a Broodcoven, 10 Neophytes, 3 Allarus Terminators, and 5 Sisters of SIlence.
The Reductas Saboteur has
- Concealed Explosives, a 24" Assault Blast 2d3 strength 8 ap -3 Damage 1 (Damage 3 Against Vehicles and Monsters) Gun hat can not target air craft
- The Reductus Mine Ability, where you use an action to lay down a mine that then explodes if anyone gets near it by the end of the charge phase, which basically makes it for every model withing 3" you roll a d6, on a 4+ (2+ for vehicles, monsters, and bikes) they take 1 MW (4 for Vehicles and Monsters)
- Cloaked for +1 Cover save
- Clandestine, which makes her untargetable outside of 12" if she is in Area Terrain and always gives a -1 to hit with ranged attacks
The Sword Champions has
- A Leadership characteristic of 11 (Only useful for stuff like Mind COntrol), and attack profile of 6
- 3 different Melee profiles (+2 strength, -4 AP, 2 Damage, always wounds on a 4+ to hit against monsters and vehicles) Hurricanus (User, -1, Damage 1, 2 Attacks every time you attack with this weapons) and Victus (+1 Strength, -4 AP, Damage 3, reroll wound rolls against characters)
Permanent TrranshumanCan only be hit on a 4+ in melee- Legacy of Combat for Fight First, 6" Heroic Intervention as long as it's in engagement range of the closest enemy model or character.
I really think Custodes got the better end of the deal here, the Saboteur feels very much a flavour unit. Concealed Explosives is a Good Gun, but the Mine I don't know if i'll ever really use (Could be useful if she can get up to an objective turn 1). The Champion is probably the most dangerous beatstick in the game, especially if he can take relics, warlord traits, and other upgrades that improve his combat capabilities.
