27-0 as the starting QB. From my initial research, this is the best home record of any QB in the history of college football.
Jalen Hurts was 26-0 at home (including both OU/Bama)
Look elsewhere for your QB. Ridder is awful.
Per Justin Williams with The Athletic:
βCincinnati #Bearcats quarterback Desmond Ridder said he was asked to speak on ESPN's CFP rankings show tonight, and that he respectfully passed on the opportunity.β - https://twitter.com/williams_justin/status/1455573927703429122?s=21
βRidder: "As much as we want to be on (the show), that's not something we're focused on right now. If it was a show about the (AAC) standings, I probably would have joined it. Because we can't do anything without these next four games & the conference championship game." #Bearcatsβ - https://twitter.com/williams_justin/status/1455594947428577284?s=21
Not gonna lie I love that heβs taken Fickβs attitude of fuck rankings and just play the games and let everyone else sort things out.
With a win over SMU he'll be tied for 3rd with Andy Dalton and David Greene at 42, and a W at ECU will make him stand alone #3 with 43.
And that's with a Covid-shortened 2020 season but he quite possibly could still rack up enough to be shooting for #2 all-time. That's an unbelievable accomplishment for a low-3 star recruit who redshirted his freshman year and then took Cincinnati to those heights - while going 26-0 (hopefully 27-0) at Nippert over his four years. Oh, and he's a graduate and a dad.
All-time winningest college QBs
Kellen Moore (Boise State 2007-2010): 50-3
Colt McCoy (Texas 2006-2009): 45-8
Andy Dalton (TCU 2007-2010): 42-7
David Greene (Georgia 2001-2004): 42-10
4. Desmond Ridder (Cincinnati 2018-2021) 41-6* (and counting)
What are your opinions on him. Im actually pretty high on cousins but wouldn't be mad if we could trade him for a decent return and then we need a new QB. I like Monds potential but if we have a new coach/GM they might want their guy and I like Ridder a lot. I think he answered a lot of questions about his accuracy this season, but what do you all think of him. Would it be worth drafting him and gave him compete with Mond for next season

A lot of hype floats around the Steelers regarding the next big QB. There's definitely the favorite- Kenny Pickett (who is also a likely next QB), but Desmond Ridder may be the more likely next face of the franchise.
First off, Kenny may have risen his draft stock too high for the Steelers, who (despite being bad) will probably end up close to or at 8-8-1. But let me tell you the reasons to draft Ridder and reasons why the Steelers may be looking at him too.
Reasons to Draft
Why the Steelers will be looking at him
Ridder is divisive as a prospect. Reddit draft communities tend to not like him due to accuracy concerns. I hear a lot about Pickett, rightfully so, but I am beginning to view Ridder as the more likely result for the Steelers.
While I personally have Kenny Pickett and Matt Corral over Desmond Ridder, it seems unlikely Washington is able to draft either prospect. I say this because it's extremely likely the following teams take a QB:
Assuming Houston and Philadelphia go QB, which has been touted by reporters as very likely, Pickett and Corral are off the board by the time Washington selects. If only Houston selects, it'll likely be Kenny Pickett who is having a Joe Burrow-type of season and will likely be the most pro-ready QB prospect. Matt Corral is a very popular pick for Washington, however the more tape I watch the more underwhelmed I feel. He's very solid as a prospect, but similar to Sam Howell, feels like a lesser version of Baker Mayfield. My biggest concern is velocity on deep throws and vulnerability to lower body injuries.
Ron Rivera also has a pattern for starting seasoned veterans over rookies in key positions. I think this is related to his delusion that Washington was in "win-now" mode in contrast to last season, when he started rookies and young players until he realized the division was winnable. I expect the same with either Jimmy G or Marcus Mariota leading Washington as QB1 in 2022, regardless of the QB drafted. Mariota will likely sign a 1-year prove it deal & Jimmy G will enter his final contractual year like Heinicke, which leaves room for a developing rookie QB.
So why Desmond Ridder over Matt Corral, Sam Howell, or Malik Willis?
Hey guys,
Wondering if anyone has had the chance to test or try both of these skates and what your preference is?
I'm currently skating Them Danny Beers and I'm still pretty new to aggressive so I would prefer a slightly wider soulplate (Them V3 have just come on the new models). And I'm eyeing off both of these skates.
I'm interested in the RB SK for something different, and aesthetics as well as only having heard good reviews about them. I'm skating my Them Danny's Flat and might rock an antirocker setup for street or grinding and at least with another Them setup I know they will just work. The major difference is the cost... the RB are roughly $200 less than the Them.
Yeah, it was dumb, but the Dad in me enjoyed it. Who you picking?
Google was no help.
Ridderβs first year as starter was good, but he made some mistakes which are expected out of a young quarterback. Last year he exploded onto the scene (after a slow start) with his dual running and passing abilities. This year he doesnβt seem to be running much and is doing just okay in the throwing game. Overall I feel like he played better last year than this year so far.
What are your thoughts?
In his latest podcast, he claims that meta analyses of Hearing Aids suggest that they only help tinnitus in roughly 20% of cases (Pages 5 and 16). This is incorrect no meta analysis or scoping review claims this.
Meta Analysis claims that of 18 papers sampled, only one is against hearing aids helping (2013)
Meta Analysis claims that 60% of people have some degree of relief from tinnitus using hearing aids (2008)
I cannot find any scoping review or meta analysis that conforms with his view that only 20% of tinnitus sufferers report a reduction in volume. But even if such a review did exist it would contradict every single review in the field.
Well... would you?
