1830's vs 1837 (or current) Book of Mormon- Can anyone verify this?

I believe that with Joseph's 4th vision, he changed the Book of Mormon to fit the new narrative. Does anyone have an 1830's copy or knows of one that can verify the differences between the 1830's copy and today's version?

Here's my thought....

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mind blown. 1830's Book of Mormon VS 1837 Book of Mormon are vastly different due to the change in the first vision account.

1832- First vision was written down. In that vision only Jesus visited Joseph and forgave him of his sins. Nothing else.

Book of Mormon was first published based on that.

1835- Joseph changes his story two more times and finally we get the fourth version of God and Jesus telling him that no other churches are true, etc. Which the church teaches now and EVERYTHING about a restored church is based on.

1837- New Book of Mormon comes out, with the new changes saying that Jesus is the Son of God....

--------------------------------------------------------------------

1830, 1 Nephi 3, p. 24 β€” And he said unto me, Behold, the virgin whom thou seest is the mother of God, after the manner of the flesh

vs.

1837 and current, 1 Nephi 11:18 β€” And he said unto me, Behold, the virgin whom thou seest is the mother of the Son of God.

________________

1830, 1 Nephi 3, p. 24 β€” And the angel said unto me, behold the Lamb of God, even the Eternal Father!

vs.

1837 and current, 1 Nephi 11:21 β€” And the angel said unto me, behold the Lamb of God, even the Son of the Eternal Father!

_________________

1830, 1 Nephi 3, p. 25 β€” And I looked and beheld the Lamb of God…the Everlasting God, was judged of the world.

vs.

1837 and current, 1 Nephi 11:32 β€”And I looked and beheld the Lamb of God…the Son of the everlasting God was judged of the world.

________________

1830, 1 Nephi 3, p. 32 β€” These last records ... shall make known to all kindreds, tongues, and people, that the Lamb of God is the Eternal Father and the Saviour of the world.

vs.

1837 and current, 1 Nephi 13:40 β€” These last records.…shall make known to all kindreds, tongues, and people, that the Lamb of God is the Son of the Eternal Father and the Savior of the world.

Queen Victoria owned so much of the world from 1837 to 1901 that she is still casually associated with the time period.

Even though there are other terms for the Victorian era outside of the UK (Belle Epoque, Industrial Era, etc), you still hear non-British people casually referring to that part of THEIR history as "Victorian" too! Spanish people, for example, have no reason to call it "la Γ©poca Victoriana" or to call Spanish people who lived during that era as "los victorianos", but when I was growing up in Spain they did in casual conversation. It is wild to think that a woman who died over a hundred years ago is still used as a casual reference for an entire period of human history, even in countries she didn't rule over.

[EVENT] Snap Elections of 1837

1. December

According to law, when the ruling monarch of the UK dies, the parliament is disbanded. Thus when the Late King William died, Lord Melbourne rescinded and new elections were set for 1. December.

This is a decisive election for the nation as the Second Melbourne government has been quite controversial. They are seen mostly as a failure on the home front failing to deal with Ireland and overly fixating on the issue neglecting other parts of the UK. Still, the Police Reform is seen in a positive light. But where the government truly shinies is in the foreign department. The UK has seen much success in recent times, signing off on many free trade deals that have already started to bolster the economy as well as expanding the British nation without a drop of blood.

Still, to save face, Lord Melbourne has declared he won't be taking up the mantle of PM for the third time. Instead, Earl Cottenham has taken the mantle of leading the Whigs. The Whigs have rallied themselves on their foreign policies promising to even further straighten the UK's position in the world as well as continuing with peaceful solutions in Ireland. Also on the homefront, they have promised the expansion of the grammar schools and furthering the Poor laws.

The Conservatives, on the other hand, are lead by Sir Peel. The conservatives have promised to take a more hardline stance with Ireland. On the foreign front, they have also promised to expand the empire but to stop the rapid free trade agreements.

Still, the expected winners are the Whigs. Almost the whole of Ireland is voting for them and they have found lots of support from the poor but also from the rich who benefit from the free trade. In the last elections, they received 57% vote and excluding Ireland the current government is seen in a positive light

1-14 Whigs 15-20 Conservatives
