A list of puns related to "Random Subspace Method"
>Scotty: "Captain, it was our anti-matter imbalance that created the wormhole in the first place. It will happen again if we don't correct it."
We know wormhole has been used in Star Trek to cover a number of phenomena. In "The Nth Degree" Barclay creates a means of propulsion using subspace alterations enabled via the ship's warp drive. As the Enterprise moves through the subspace phenomena, a very familiar distortion and slowing of the perception of time occurs on the Enterprise D.
An effect much like on the Enterprise when they mess up their warp field calculations during their first attempt at warp drive in TMP. The quote at the beginning of this post by Scotty attests to this. After entering warp a wormhole-like distortion forms (which also pulls in an asteroid somehow...) around them that keeps them travelling close to light speed for several seconds, despite reversing engines (Decker mentions a delay due to the wormhole effect.) Obviously the knowledge and means (Which Barclay had at his disposal) to maneuver the ship to a specific location and travel a specific distance (per Barclay's use of it) were missing from this event, they had simply created the subspace distortion and become trapped inside it.
So who was responsible for it? Ultimately it was Kirk as he pushed for warp drive despite there being reservations all-round. It would not have occured if Kirk hadn't ordered them to warp. However, prior to that order being given:
>Assistant Engineer: "That's it, sir; I can't do any better."
Scotty's assistant seems to be tasked with formulating the equations for the warp drive. What's curious is that when Spock comes on-board and takes over, the Assistant clearly seems bamboozled by Spock's extensive knowledge of warp theory.
In short, this essentially suggests a junior officer with limited knowledge of warp field equations (especially respective to a new, minimally tested design) stumbled across a highly advanced alternative means of propulsion, by rushing his equations because Kirk was impatient.
I mean, on one of my runs, I somehow started with Tiff and Tuff at the start, and then proceeded to unlock Labrys, Batman, Josuke, and Waluigi in just one level.
Of these options, which is your favorite?

I recently replayed Brawl's Subspace Emissary and holy balls I cannot believe they haven't made another mode like this since it is so so good. Sure Ultimate has World of Light but it didnt scratch that smash campaign itch I've had since Brawl. I know Sakurai said he didnt make one due to the cutscenes being leaked but would yall want to see another Subspace type mode?
I am looking for a way to put random-sized network images into a fixed size area. The issue is the pictures can be random sizes. Is there a way to get images resized to fit a certain area? Any suggestions? I thought about expanded or aspect ratio but I don't really know how to take this approach.
This is my code so far:

In my game I want to be able to cycle through 3 different methods on repeat. I want to have these functions also be cycled through at random intervals. so for example. I have 3 methods DetectFire() , DetectShield() , DetectMove(). Every x amount of seconds i want it to switch which method it is running at random. x would also be random amount of seconds.
Now I'm guessing I could some how use a coroutine where it waitsforseconds(x) and then execute a method? but how would i get the methods to be random as well? my thought would be to make a method that runs a if / else statement and picks a random number between 1-3. Not sure if this is the easiest way to do this or if there is a simpler way.
"My name is Professor Z'grafk, and today we will be learning about the human-based FTL process itself as well as the inhabitants of Subspace." The Llurllukuthu stood at his podium, staring out at his shocked class with a mask of blank apathy. Every student in the room had fallen silent as he had entered, not understanding or being off put by his appearance. A slight breeze caused his bared flesh to shiver, reminding him once more of the necessary steps he had taken to preserve his dignity: a total exoskeletal molt.
Sighing softly and fidgeting with two manipulator appendages out of student sight, Z'grafk leaned closer to the microphone and spoke in a softer tone of voice. "Many of you are likely wondering why I am missing my normal exoskeleton. There is nothing wrong with me, I am simply undergoing a wilfully molting. It is a personal choice, and any further information is private. Please do not ask about it, I will not answer your questions." Of course he couldn't tell them why he was really molting. Anyone who knew Llurllukuthu well was aware that their tears cause an irreparable stain on their exoskeleton, a sign of weakness and cowardice amongst their people. The only way to get rid of the marks were by initiating a total molt, reverting to a more exposed form for a period of time before a new layer of protective chitin could reform. While there were multiple reasons why a Llurllukuthu would do this, they were limited and all quite private.
To his relief, none asked about why he chose to molt - finally, for the first time in what felt like months, Z'grafk had a break. A cursory glance around the room showed that the abhorrent filth- ... the gracious Dean Diswinka was not present, a second blessing of the day. Clearing his throat canals, Z'grafk readjusted himself and turned on the holographic projector once more. "To start our lesson off, can anyone tell me about the Subspace Dimension itself?"
Most of the class raised its hands, tentacles, manipulators, or equivalent bodily extensions. Z'grafk pointed towards the Llurllukuthu in his class, hoping the other member of his species would bring their people pride through knowledge. "You in the back, Ek'k'k'karrel. What is the Subspace dimensi

I've devised a datapack algorithm to store a number in an arbitrary range to a scoreboard variable that only uses the random_chance
predicate and scoreboard operations (no entities or entity selectors). Sorry if this has already been discovered, but I've searched the subreddit and haven't seen anyone mention this method before, and in my opinion it is better than the random bit method for small number ranges. It uses a Markov chain (probabilistic state machine), which might sound complicated, but I assure you it's very easy to understand.
Let's start simple: generating a number in the range [1,2]. Consider Figure 1 below.
Figure 1: Markov chain for random range [1,2]
Starting at the green 1, you have 50% chance of going to the white 2 and 50% chance of going to the orange 1. If you end up at the white 2, you have a 100% chance of going to the orange 2. So, if you start at the green 1, you will end up at the orange 1 half the time and the orange 2 half the time.
So what does this look like in Minecraft code?
The mcfunction file:
scoreboard objectives add g_1or2 dummy
# Set Globals g_1or2 to 1 or 2 using Bayesian probability
scoreboard players set Globals g_1or2 1
execute if predicate mobfall_rng:r2p2g1 run scoreboard players set Globals g_1or2 2
And the predicate file mobfall_rng/predicates/r2p2g1.json:
{
"condition": "minecraft:random_chance",
"chance": 0.5
}
Now, this is a pretty standard use of the random_chance
predicate. Wouldn't it be great if you could use the same logic to generate a random number in an arbitrary range? Well you can; you just have to choose your transition probabilities carefully.
Now, let's generate a random number in range [1,5]. Consider the Markov chain pictured below in Figure 2.
Figure 2: Markov chain for random range [1,5]
I've chosen the transition probabilities such that if you start at the green 1, you are equally likely to end up at the orange 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5. Don't believe me? Here's the math:
P(1): 1/5
P(2): 4/5 * 1/4 = 1/5
P(3): 4/5 * 3/4 * 1/3 = 1/5
P(4): 4/5 * 3/4 * 2/3 * 1/2 = 1/5

The current circumstance the world is confronting has made ready for cutting edge innovation and the interest of how to make a video talk application emerged more than ever. The critical justification for this progression is the unexpected increment of organizations changing to the Work from the home cycle. This adjustment of the work cycle of most of the organizations is driving us towards an alternate way where our basics and decencies have changed alongside the functioning system. This was the best arrangement which came about decidedly by showing enormous usefulness by the workers. The best answer for save the world by physical removing and utilize the quarantine time frame. I'm looking at using the CHAMELEON hierarchical clustering algorithm to create a dendrogram of sample data points generated by a procedure that imitates an arbitrary problem space. I'm looking for a way to choose an "appropriate" height in the dendrogram in order to partition the problem space in an "intuitive way." Does anyone know of an algorithm for doing this? I've searched, but either such an algorithm doesn't exist (which I highly doubt) or I'm choosing the wrong words in my searches. If it makes any difference, the clusters will probably end up being hyper-ellipsoidal.
EDIT: Also, I forgot to mention that these are unlabeled/uncategorized data points, so I cannot compare the clustering with any ground truth
The worst part is youβre pushing for other people to go through a RANDOM REDDIT USER WHO IS USING A BURNER ACCOUNT AND SAID HE WILL PROVIDE PROOF OF IDENTITY ONLY IF U ASK?!
I saw that users post when it was just 3 min live and already had 7 awards. Super fishy.
As the title implies, subspace and reinforcing is fucking broken. It's absurd Paradox pushes patch after patch leaving such an integral part of the game so broken. For any lurkers, I'm sure you've seen posts showcasing 100+ baby fleets in the outliner.
Reinforcing a fleet in your own territory? Sorry, your ships have to go into subspace for a year or two for absolutely no reason. But wait - you built gateways connecting all of your shipyards for really fast reinforcements? Sorry, your ships are going into subspace. Did you design your fleet to have 30 corvettes, 15 destroyers and 10 cruisers? Sorry, you're getting 42 corvettes, 19 destroyers and 3 cruisers. Relying on that reinforce fleet button to spend your precious alloys? Sorry, you just overspent 10,000 alloys because the game can't remember if you have reinforcements in transit.
Maybe let's put the brakes on suggesting new game mechanics, and let's start demanding fundamental parts of the game are fixed first.
Hi everyone. Iβve been with my current daddy dom for about 6-7 months now. This is not my first BDSM relationship, but it is the first healthy one with someone who really understands the dynamic. He has helped me in so many ways, and I like to think Iβm a really good submissive to him. I love making him happy all the time, and he never abuses that privilege. One of the things heβs mentioned he wants to do is water sports, not something Iβve ever been into or tried before but Iβm excited about making him happy and letting him βmark his territoryβ that excites me. Anyways the point is he wants to get me into subspace before we begin, but I donβt think Iβve ever been there with him or anyone. What does subspace really feel like? Is there anything other submissive can recommend doing to help me get there? I think Iβm over thinking it, but I really want to make him happy. Itβs going to be almost 2 weeks before I can see him again because of our schedules, so any advice to help me get there would be appreciated.
I know this is old school pokemon, but I was wondering if in any shape or form if you can interact with random players, or is it friend locked?
(With all the support I've received, I feel like it would be an injustice to the community if I didn't make this a series. Here's the next part!)
High Educational Specialist Z'grafk looked around the lecture hall at his class, their demeanor having wildly changed since the fiasco of coincidental timing during the course's introduction. Where once quiet and composed members of the academic community's next generation once sat, a class of nearly two hundred rowdy and immature youths filled the seats. A soft irritation stirred in his thorax as he watched the newest scientific prodigies in the Union chat and shout and generally disturb the peace of the room, inwardly cursing the abrupt appearance of the human tunneling crew. With no small amount of grim satisfaction, the Llurllukuthu pressed a small button on the underside of his lectern; as he did, a jarring high-pitched screech echoed throughout the room. Almost everyone was effected, excepting the singular Llurllukuthu student in the room and himself, silencing themselves quickly as they clamped their ears shut however they could.
"Now that I have everyone's attention," the professor said as he released the button and ceased the horrid noise, "let us begin today's lesson. All of you remember yesterday's primer fairly well I assume, seeing as it's all you seem to be talking about. Today we'll be learning about how that unwelcome intrusion came to be. Regardless of how excitable you all are, you were accepted into this course due to your academic prowess, and as such I expect some of you have done research using what knowledge is publicly available. Who here knows the name of the device used to enter an untouched pocket of subspace?"
More than half the class raised their hands, and much to Z'grafk's disappointment the rest began flipping through notes they had not brought the previous day. The fascination with such a crude and tactless form of travel was lost on the High Educational Specialist, and seeing a member of his own species being one of the ones who knew from memory sent a shiver of shame through his second and third hearts. Motioning towards a Gafli student, the Gafli being one of the Union's few silicon-based species that evol
