A list of puns related to "Python Conference"
cpp.py is a library that implements C++ lifetime semantics in Python:
The project uses a lot of meta-programming tricks and terrible hacks to get the job done. All of them are explained in the talk and the notes.
This is an experimental project I did for a talk, to see how far I can take it. Please don't use it in production code or sensitive software.

Hey everyone, I am a graduate student who just entered the area of bioinformatics (and already loving it). Since, I used to work in a completely different area before I try get myself acquainted to the Bioinformatics field as often as possible through different conferences and seminars. Most of my research makes use of python and some amount of R. I recently came across this wonderful series of workshops by RPharma and was thinking if there is something similar for Python. It may not exactly be Pharmaceutical industry and python but any workshops on how be "better" use Python for bioinformatics.
EDIT: I found this however it seems it happened last year and I could not find if/when it is happening again. Does someone has any updates on this?

I only attended one Python conference in my life (PyConIT) and I found it warming, interesting and funny!
But what about other conferences?
What do you expect from a conference?
I will be doing a 30 minute live demo. I plan on covering the python window inside arcmap as well as using an IDE outside of it. Any ideas for examples I can do? So far, I'll be doing select, clip, buffer, a for loop and cursor.
Hey guys,
Iβm looking to plan out what conferences to hit up in 2019. Iβve searched the sub and found some lackluster posts that really donβt give a good breakdown of possible conferences.
Iβm more of a python person myself, so I am interested in targeting python centered conferences (but still open to any general conferences).
Iβm in California, so the ones on my list already are ODSC West and a PyData (I think in LA?).
Trying to figure out one or two out of state conferences to target. SciPy looks pretty cool. PyCon looks interesting but not really targeted to analytics or anything (although Iβm sure there would be some content there).
NIPS looks interesting but also a bit... theory heavy/academic? Not sure Iβm totally the right audience.
Recsys would be my jam but thatβs in Europe next year so probably not going to happen.
Am I missing any of the big ones? Any suggestions would be great!

The second HN thread in response to her blog post.
I don't even have the effort to quote them. There are so many. Apparently /r/programming tried and failed to discuss it, too. I just... what the fuck? What the serious, legitimate fuck?
Someone look through those comments and complain about them with me. Please. ;_;
Hi Guys,
I am one of the organizers of the PyCaribbean conference. What would you expect of a Python Conference to make it memorable?
My boss is willing to send me to a Python conference for data science. I have used Python to make a some games and useful scripts at home but not really data science and never for work. I'd like to get inspired and start applying it to my job.
Anyway, AnacondaCON looks pretty good and I'm leaning that way. SciPy hasn't released their agenda yet. Is it usually pretty useful? PyCon looks like it might be too broad? I don't know. Any recommendations?
Thanks!
