I don't want to step on anybody's toes here, but the amount of non-dad jokes here in this subreddit really annoys me. First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.
Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.

VIC3's current Korea state division
In the Victoria 3 Monthly Update #4 for October, how Korea's states are divided in the game so far has been shown. The reaction from Korean fans were...underwhelming at best.
It was very, very likely that the horrendous state division from VIC2 is being kept in VIC3 so far in the development. Yes, everyone understands that this is still a WIP and there are many other issues with the current map(Saxony for example) and many of these issues will likely be fixed given the time. However, Korea's probably not going to get as many shoutouts like Saxony or the Caucuses on the forum or on reddit so hopefully this post will help bring light to why the Korean fans were frustrated with VIC2's rendition of the Korean state division and why VIC3 should not carry them over without significant changes.
Also before we start, Koramei's wonderful post also applies to a lot of what I'll be saying here. He's post deals much more with the specifics of terrain and climate of the Korean peninsula and so this post will gear towards the historical administrative division of Korea and how we can apply them to VIC3's model. While we differ in our approach and aim (and arguable the game too), what he mentioned about the specifics in regards to the terrain tile would absolutely apply to Victoria series as well.
A. Examining the historical administrative divisions
The current (and VIC2's) state division divides the Korea's provinces in 4 lateral parts. Going from South to North, it's Busan, Seoul, Sariwon and Pyeongyang. There are many unfortunate aspects division such as the fact that each of the state "name" is just the largest city within the state group. Sort of like calling Alsace-Lorrain "Strasbourg" because the largest city within the region is Strasbourg.
Another reason is the aforementioned historicity. I'll post some pictures of how Korea's traditionally divided it's administrative districts:
