A list of puns related to "Pulsific"
I feel like Iβve seen/heard this name many times before in my life, but when I searched it, not much came up. Is there another word/name similar to it?
Bonus quotes with a similar spirit:
"Little by little, a little becomes a lot." β Tanzanian Proverb π
"If you understand compound interest, you basically understand the Universe." β Robert Breault
May my life be full of gratitude
May it be shown in my attitude
By the way that I act
And with any and all contacts.
Let my appreciation show
Expressing it quickly not to slow
For those who have helped me along
Even when I was stubborn and wrong.
May the kindness that was shown to me
Be kindness that I return so easy
May I always lend a hand
To a child, woman, or man.
You see a life of gratitude is one
That makes you appreciate all that is done.
You count your blessings every day
From the time you are young until you are gray.
It's a struggle not to blame jw for all the failures, damage and harm that have been to us due to choices we made. Taking responsibility is itself a good therapy.
I don't want to step on anybody's toes here, but the amount of non-dad jokes here in this subreddit really annoys me. First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.
Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.
@imPULSEivity: No team since 1900 has ever had as few as 15 runs and 48 hits in an 11-game span. Mets have hit an all-time historic low.

I know it also happens in the books, but it didnβt hit me in my past readings/listening of the story until I watched the show that Newton Pulsifer, despite being a terribly mediocre straight white boy gets the girl (Anathema, just bec Agnes said so) and stops Armageddon while fucking up the entire time.
he quite literally fails upward to save all of creation and a better life without doing anything remotely remarkable in particular.
back in the time it was written it was pretty much all right but in this day and age this story note really bothered me, and if there was something in the original story that they changed, i was hoping it was that (like for example, making him black in the same way that Anathema is now latina)
I donβt know, does anyone else feel the same way?
Do your worst!
I'm surprised it hasn't decade.
For context I'm a Refuse Driver (Garbage man) & today I was on food waste. After I'd tipped I was checking the wagon for any defects when I spotted a lone pea balanced on the lifts.
I said "hey look, an escaPEA"
No one near me but it didn't half make me laugh for a good hour or so!
Edit: I can't believe how much this has blown up. Thank you everyone I've had a blast reading through the replies π
