A list of puns related to "Pornography In Japan"
The entire thread is pretty much a gold mine but this is the biggest argument.

Do either of you view it? Is it the shameful scourge Church leaders have portrayed it? If you discovered he has an interest in viewing porn, what is your reaction? If he discovered you have an interest in it, how would he react? Should it be admitted or kept secret for the sake of the relationship? Or stopped altogether?
Full disclosure: Iโm an active-ish (nuanced) LDS male who feels the vilification of pornography in the Church culture is excessive and that porn is an overinflated topic the Church uses as a wedge between wives and husbands. What are your thoughts?
I spent years wondering why I was given that specific weakness. I discovered masturbation by accident at age 11. I had viewed 80โs movies with topless women since I was 6 or 7. I would fantasize as I went to sleep.
At age 18 I decided to try to fix it and decided I needed to talk to the bishop. I spent the next 3 years trying to get worthy. I went to addiction recovery programs. I met with LDS family services counselors and paid for their help on my own. I felt I was broken.
As I neared my 20th birthday, I decided that if I could just get out on a mission it would all go away. I finally made it out and through my time at the MTC I never once touched my little factory.
When I got out into the field the stress of being a new missionary broke me and I relapsed. I spent the entire time thinking that if I just worked hard every day and gave it my all that god would take it away. That through Christโs atonement I could be healed of my affliction. I prayed for hundreds of hours just for that one thing. I worked from dawn til dusk as hard as I could. I was as obedient as possible in everything but this one thing. I made it to the end of my mission exhausted, sleep deprived, and weary, knowing deep down that I was still a failure.
I never had success in baptizing anyone on my mission. I knew that it was because of my problem. That people were choosing to not join the church because I was masturbating. I knew deep down that the sins of these people were on my head.
I dove deep into genealogy when I got home, hoping to find salvation for others who came before me. All the whole knowing, that when I went into the bathroom to masturbate, that my dead progenitors weโre watching me, basing their eternal lives decision on me and whether or not I touched myself.
I dated often. I starting going on dates 3 times a week, thinking that I would be able to finally rid myself of this if I could just get married to the right girl. I went to singles wards and institute classes. At each I would hear comments and testimonies from women who would say some variation of โI could never marry someone who has looked at pornography.โ
I dated women who, when things got serious, I would have to ask myself if I was going to tell this person about my deep dark secret, or if I should just hope for the best. I knew deep down that I had to be open and honest. After three broken relationships due to my honesty about my โaddictionโ I came to the conclusion that I was broken and no good

I don't know if it's sensitive topic. But I know that Government is trying to ban pornography in India. As far as I know, watching porn is legal ( right? ). But Sharing & distribution is a crime. So I would like to ask does it also include art? Like 2D Drawings , Abstract art with a adult ( -ish ) themes. Art that is not targeted to any existing person or group?
Sorry if my question is a touchy topic. But compared to other internet places, Redditors has been more mature. The law is too vaguely defined that I can't understand it. Most people don't want to discuss about it either.
Edit : I'm referring to digital art
Edit 2 : This post is actually because I saw in a news article that before April 2020, Government will require that all Social networks to be linked to Aadhar & will be strictly under surveillance so as to prevent distribution of obscene contents, terrorism, making rude remarks about other people in social media ( like trolls i guess ). So I wanted to know where would I fit.
At my university the WiFi canโt be used to view pornography. I usually just switch the switch the WiFi off on my phone but I forgot and viewed porn on it a few days back. The rule is that we get locked out of our school accounts if weโre caught. Iโm pretty sure this is a somewhat common policy, but Iโve never heard of anyone getting caught. I honestly doubt IT cares unless itโs illegal with everything else going on
Society has a lot of problems. Even though I love America and I think we have come a long way in terms of social justice, we still have a lot of โopportunities for improvement.โ
Racism, sexism, xenophobia, violence against women and children, rape, incest, child abuse, child rape, even slavery. Heck, even semi-legal situations like certain corporations financially abusing uneducated young people.
Porn fetishizes all of it and then some.
I read a Dan Savage column once that said pornography exists portraying Jewish prisoners and Nazi guards during the Holocaust. Would this porn exist if the Holocaust had never happened? Of course not.
There is mainstream porn of Mexican/Central American women being raped by coyotes and/or border patrol agents. Would this porn exist if it werenโt really happening? Nope. About 30% of women and girls who cross the US Southern border illegally are raped in the process.
BDSM is fetishized domestic violence, incest porn is fetishized child abuse, and men strangling women (I refuse to call it โchokingโ) is fetishized murder fantasies. The sexualized racism in pornography is so blatant and obvious it needs no elaboration.
Thereโs even โmetaโ porn that fetishizes the exploitative nature of the porn industry itself, โcastingโ porn, in which the hook is that the women are young, dumb, and vulnerable. The point is always made that โthere is no jobโ and the women are being lied to by the producers and tricked into a kind of sex they donโt want.
We, as a society, need to be working on fixing these problems. Philosophers have different ideas about HOW to fix them, from striving to be โcolorblindโ and working toward equality of opportunity, to working toward social justice for people as classes. Republicans and Democrats argue about the best method for solving these problems, but at least we unanimously agree that they ARE PROBLEMS that need to be solved, at least publicly people say that.
But privately? We, as a society, consume massive amounts of porn that provides the opposite message, and reinforces its points with sexual gratification.
Porn says racism is funny! And true! Asian women really ARE submissive! Black men really ARE animals! Etc, fill in the blanks for any and all racial/ethnic/religious stereotypes. And racism never hurts anyone, there are no real victims!
Porn says women really like being hurt during sex! Porn says that we can say no all day long but once the sex gets started, we always enjoy it. No one is
... keep reading on reddit โกI just stumbled across the subreddit /r/TraceAnObject where people try to identify objects from child abuse cases to assist Europol. I was on there for a little while and got almost physically sick, which made me wonder how anyone can see these pictures, in their uncensored versions, all day long, and have the strength to not break completely. Not only am I pretty certain I would lose my sanity, but I'm pretty certain I would do so within just a few weeks. And yet some of these people probably have decade-long careers in these fields. Just ... how can you not get fucked up by this? Do they practice some mental exercises? Days off to deal with the stress? Free therapy sessions?

I am writing a report about various laws around the world and how the existence of the world wide web complicates them... one series of such laws are those surrounding pornography. During my research of porn laws in different countries, I found the Austrian legislation to have interesting implications, but I don't know many languages and English translations/explanations are hard to come by... Here's hoping to get help from any German speakers?
About article 1 in the Austrian porn law, which I got from here there is a paragraph that says...
> eine solche Schrift, Abbildung oder sonstige Darstellung auf eine Art ausstellt, aushรคngt, anschlรคgt oder sonst verbreitet, daร dadurch der anstรถรige Inhalt auch einem grรถรeren Kreis von Personen unter 16 Jahren zugรคnglich wird,
From my attempts at translation, I can understand that it's illegal to distribute pornography in a way that a person under sixteen might have access to it... but I would like some clarification from those more familiar with German legalese than me... Most porn websites don't have any form of positive age verification and just have a popup asking if you're over 18 and anyone can click yes without proof, and many websites don't even have that. Would these be illegal under Austrian law? Another confounding factor is the presence of search engines, where anyone can disable the safe search feature and use search terms that would cause pornography to become visible through the site... Would these be illegal as well? Could you be punished for having a porn site you run be able to be indexed by search engines?
I feel like at the extreme, you could even make the case for unprotected pornographic images on a server that is not explicitly shared publically but that anyone with a link can access being illegal.
I know it's a weird question and I definitely don't try to encourage making pornography available to minors, but this seems to have far reaching implications that would make most porn sites illegal. Can anyone clarify on what it means?
Much thanks!!!
