A list of puns related to "Poker Terms"
Mandatory, NO EXCEPTIONS: You must have played enough poker to understand simple poker terminologies. If the words UTG (under the gun) or 3bet sounds like gibberish, this is not for you. You won't be able to do what is needed. Please do not apply.
Workload: Expect between 100-200 edits per clip (around 10-12 mins), it's tedious work, but not hard. Reference Brad Owen, RampagePoker on YT to see what kind of format I'm looking for. Lots of trimming, overlay with simple text and thumbnails. No hardcore graphics involved.
Goal: Have the editor listen to the audio/commentary file I will provide, and let them have free reign on following/syncing/pausing my audio to the video. However this should follow the flow/format as described above. The reason it's important the editor knows POKER, is so they can follow along what I'm saying, and make changes on the fly. I want to be hands off.
Pay: $60 starting per clip, will increase as I'm more hands off. Can also negotiate in other various deals if you care.
PSA: I hired an editor from here last week, but we had a miscommunication about what was to be expected. So this time, crystal clear above.
Started trying to learn some Spanish phrases during quarantine with the goal of being able to carry very casual conversation.

We have the nuts. Not just figuratively, but in the poker sense. In poker, when you have the absolute best, unbeatable cards, it's called having "the nuts".
If there's a ten, jack, and queen of hearts on the board, the nuts are the king and ace of hearts (giving you a royal flush). Yes, any combination of a 8/9, 9/K, or K/A gives you a straight. And any combination of hearts gives you a flush. Hell, you can even have a straight flush with an 8/9 of hearts or a 9/K of hearts. But absolutely nothing can beat a K/A of hearts.
A couple things can happen in these scenarios: If there are still more cards to draw, what is considered "the nuts" can change based on what is drawn. There are no more cards to be drawn the GME game- that shit sailed when they shorted past 100% and we bought the float.
The only other situation that can occur is that the player doesn't recognize they have the nuts and they inexplicably fold due to pressure from other players. Yes, it sounds stupid, but it happens.
Realize this: There are no other cards to be drawn. Be aware of our position- we're holding the best cards and they simply can't be beat if we see it through. What we want right now is to not be overconfident and hope our opponent continues to bet into us (in this case, shorting more in an effort to shake our confidence). But that shit won't work because we know we have the nuts, and the payout will be even sweeter.
Hodl and win. It's that simple.
Unlike the Lightning Network this is not a closed small group of people thinking theyβre getting βfree transactions broβ without realizing theyβre not Bitcoin transactions whatsoever
This is not some alt where yes itβs cheap to transact but itβs either absolutely centralized or has some insane pre or insta mine or something other form of value theft.
This is pure Bitcoin as it always worked, where people ultimately think in terms of Satoshis and the 100,000,000 satoshi each coin includes.
There is no nicer feeling than sending a 0.2 BCH and pay around 200 satoshis to receive 20,000,000 satoshis on Blockchain.poker. I admit I play mostly on 1 and 5 Satoshi tables because I just feel a satoshi is a satoshi!
And itβs really awesome to go to memo.cash and see cool meme tokens like Honk priced in sub satoshis and CYFROG priced in thousands of satoshis and still be able to buy both!
Bitcoin Cash really preserved what a Satoshi is, and I expect that miners will be more than happy charging a single satoshi per transaction in the future, as Bitcoin correctly scales here on BCH!
In this video I will Review GG Poker. I will look into their TOS and rake schme and also comment on the story about the german highstakes pro, whos money got confiscated.
I'm writing something that involves a poker game (one main character loses and another main character wins), so I've been some doing research on the subject. I have a basic idea of the rules based on what I've read on Wikipedia, but I fear it's not enough to write a convincing poker game scene. Could someone kindly explain the rules again in really simple terms, along with some basic terminology that might come in handy? Also, can people theoretically play in teams of two?
I hope I'm not being stupid for asking, as I sometimes get called out for not doing my research. :P Thanks for any help!
