Hello all Peterbald owners and lovers!
I am thinking of adding a black Peterbald or Cornish Rex kitten from a reputable breeder to my home. I have moderate adult onset cat allergies, and was wondering if any of you owners have cat allergies and react to your Peterbald? If so, is the reaction the same or a lot less than a normal cat?
(For context I tend to get a stuffed nose when I am petting a normal cat and they are in my face, but if I am in a clean house and I’m not petting them I don’t seem to have a reaction.)
I will hopefully be visiting a breeder in the spring and be meeting cats to see how I react to them. Thank you! 🐈⬛
I was just thinking about how we have to hide any and all butter in the kitchen or she’ll get to it and nibble/lick it. Do any of your loves have mischievous ways?

LONG time cat owner and aficionado, first time Peterbald owner in a few weeks. I have had siamese and osh for quite some time and am excited to get to know this breed.
Could you let me know your must-have peterbald supplies? Ours is naked. I already have basic cat things but am curious about what specifically I should be thinking about for this new baby.
-What is the best cat/ kitten shampoo for weekly baths?
-I have ordered several very small kitten sized sweaters/ fleeces
-I have ordered a heat reflecting cozy cave type bed
-We have cat toys, but let me know any peterbald favorites.

Introduction:
River is an older monk, forced into adventuring by her expulsion from the temple she was studying at. She's smart, always seeking new learning experiences and weighing the consequences to her choices carefully. However, she is very sociable and talkative and so comes across as a bit childish or silly most of the time. The only time she's quiet is when she's lost in a good book or meditating over a serious issue. The world is a standard fantasy world - all the PCs are part of a guild fighting against the resurgence of an evil guild and their "Master".
Physical appearance / Gear:
River is 56, not too old to be out and about, but she's seen a lot of the world. She's wiry but not very strong, relying on her wits and nimble feet to see her through any physical challenge. She's based on a peterbald cat. They look very much like a sphynx cat, but with a longer face and much larger nose bridge. River has very little fur, just peach fuzz, except on her tail which has a floof at the end (like a lion's tail). Her whiskers are short and scraggly. She's almost entirely grey but has white at the tip of her tail, on her muzzle, and in a line around her bright blue eyes. She has a diamond shape black spot going from her nose, between her ears and down the back of her head. Her jaw is black as well, tapering to a point on her chest. She's slender, with no chest to speak of, though. She could easily pass as a boy if she wanted to. Which, why would she? She has no desire to be anything other than herself.
She used to wear a lot of piercings in her younger days but has since removed all but one. She still wears a single piercing through the midsection of her tail. During a training accident, River got an arrow through her tail. It hurt a LOT, so she decided that she'd make use of the opportunity and let the wound heal around a metal pin. She has worn all sorts of decorations in it throughout the years, though she usually sticks with a simple metal ring. She forgets about it unless someone points it out.
She wears simple loose clothes in neutral colors that cover her whole torso, with wrapped shins and feet - no boots. She doesn't like things swinging around or blowing in her face, so she doesn't have a lot of draping clothes or strips of fabric. She wears a pair of bracers on her arms, and a wide belt decorated with a more colourful pattern. She has a staff that she uses to hit people with. Three stones float around the top of it.
