Bio
Paula has essentially always been a runner. She started at age 7 (even with asthma and anaemia), and joined the Bedford Athletics Club at age 12, with her amateur marathoner father as vice-president and her mother as the womenβs XC manager. Paula went to the 1996 Atlanta Olympics for the 5000m, but she missed out on the podium, crossing 5th (15:13).
Paula won silver at both the 1997 and 1998 Wor
