One summer my dad who was a jack of all trades construction worker type, my cousin that's an electrician and my dad's uncle who had Parkinson's disease were all working on an electrical project at my Uncles house. Replacing a power meter is pretty dangerous if the power is not shut off and if you touch the wrong thing, it could very easily kill you.
So here these three men are. My electrician cousin says "Okay, don't friggin touch me. I gotta slide this washer on here and if I touch the sides, I'll fry." So as he's doing this, he's shaking because he's nervous. Eventually he stops to take a breather and my uncle says "Give me that thing." To which my dad responds "Are you crazy? This is not a job for Parkinson's"
My uncle gets kinda bummed and says something about not being able to do anything anymore and my dad tries to cheer him up by saying "Oh come on, there are plenty jobs you can have, Rick".
My uncle says "Yea, like what?"
My dad responds "I dunno... Sifting."
My uncle laughed harder than I had seen him laugh in a long time.
My dad is in a care center with Parkinsonβs with dementia. He will be 75 on 3/28. He canβt have his party with the virus around and always needs something to occupy him so I thought birthday cards of dad jokes would keep him busy and make him happy. He was always a master of them. Thank you π

He replied: Parkinson
Must be because of my Parkinsons disease.
My Mum and dad came into my room as I was studying and began looking at the Pop Vinyls on my desk. My Mum points and laughs at one because it's head was bobbing up and down as I typed.
Mum:Look, that one has Parkinson
To which my Dad picked up the Marty McFly Pop
Dad:No that's this one.
My Mum had to leave the room she was that taken back by it.
My grandma is 85. She suffers from Parkinson's and sleeps about 16 hours a day, but her dad joke is still sharp (as I found out earlier). While discussing my cousin's bee-keeping with my mum:
Mum: '...what? I didn't know Buff makes honey' Grandma: 'He doesn't. ...the bees do'
She proceeded to grin smugly, appreciating my mother's sigh. I proudly enjoyed the ensuing silence. Well played, grandma.
