This small sweetie is the Strawberry Poison Dart Frog! (Oophaga pumilio) When its tadpoles hatch the mother carries each individual to a safe water-filled location, one at a time! Usually this location is a small puddle that can be found in the leaves of a bromeliad plant

Feeding oophaga pumilio???
Hey guys so I just got my first dart frog and I have my fruit fly cultures and his whole set up and everything, just did his first feeding, and well letβs say I found it difficult. For one Iβm not sure on how many I really should be feeding him as I read online around 50-70 3 days a week should be good, however not sure what to believe. I also would like to know if anyone has a good technique for feeding him, like to get fruit flys out and into the terrarium... another thing is, should I have some sort of like super small mesh wire or cloth on top of my terrarium lid so they canβt escape?

When you provide for others, sometimes they provide back! I always try to set up my frog tanks to best suit their natural behavior and necessities, when you are on the right track things that are supposed to happen do! Found this little Oophaga pumilio "Kusapin" froglet in his parents tank.
