A list of puns related to "Online Community Manager"
I mean, probably they have to check social platforms, Reddit included.
Imagine, internal CCP meeting and devs(DEV) say: βwe are going to end scarcity, double ores, introduce new interesting mechanics and revive mining/industry. Community manager(CM), go check, how grateful our playersβ
CM goes on Reddit and see βshit, stop, CCPlease, donβt! etcβ Probably he plays on anonymous account and thinks βI know that itβs shit, but I canβt say that. β
Another meeting. CM: βI canβt say players are grateful for changesβ DEV:βLike not grateful at all?!??β CM:β More like the opposite side of that wordβ Some particular Dev: β They just donβt understand changes and how happy should they be, Iβll go explain themβ
A bit later that Dev to players:β Guysβ¦ Guysβ¦ Guys!β¦ Guys!!!β (c)
Next day - JITA Riot.

Buenas!
With the staggering amount of issues that RDO has been facing recently (animal spawning on consoles, all of the bugs & glitches, exploits, crashing, disconnects, infinite loading screens, etc) as well as the community generally being displeased with how R* is handling content (dripfeed, no real progression, all the roles stay the same gameplay-wise no matter what level you are, etc), I believe the best way to improve RDO is to have a Community Manager. As a Star Wars Battlefront 2 player since its horrid launch in 2017, DICE/EA giving the community a manager to help funnel the peopleβs wants and wishes to the developers completely saved the game and turned it into the fantastic one it is now. I love RDO but I fear that it will die quicker than it should due to the lack of care from R*. Animal spawns have been destroyed for months and the infamous camp glitch has existed since September of last year (although itβs partially fixed now). For how loyal this gameβs community is, I believe that we deserve a little more from Rockstar and a conduit between us and the devs may be the start to a solution.
Just two quick bugs:
Fast Travel canceling.
Discover abandoned bog town.
Those have been around forever and they are annoying and seem like low-hanging fixes that could be resolved quickly. Are these on the internal bug list?
We talk with Cryptic Community Manager Michael about the game Star Trek: Online, their upcoming content with Star Trek: Discovery, and the potential effects of Star Trek: Picard

Greetings all! Iβm Donna βDaniciaβ Prior, the new Community Manager Team Lead at En Masse Entertainment. A few things before we begin!
*I am still learning the game, so if you have suggestions, tech issues, or bug reports, just hit up the forums in the usual places or contact Support.
*I donβt have access to your account, so I cannot answer any questions related to billing and all.
*I cannot answer any specific questions about the game, other than my own experiences jumping in as a newbie.
With that said, letβs do this! Iβll be checking the thread throughout the day, so if you donβt see me respond right away, Iβm probably in a meeting.
Cheers! Donna
Edit Thanks so much for your comments and questions. I'll be popping in here and there so feel free to chat me up here or on the forums. Thanks!

Looks like the concerns about requiring real money for pet benefits are....no longer a concern! Also he mentioned in the Discord that they will work to clarify in the article as well
Edit - And here is the comment about updating the article > https://i.imgur.com/2JONisx.png
HELLO! Iβm Sean Gibbons, aka Spacecats, the new Community Manager for TERA Online at En Masse Entertainment! Ask me anything you want, but read these words first:
The main purpose of this AMA is for you to get to know me and vice versa. Non-TERA questions are totally fine. Just keep in mind that Iβm not here to announce any new game features and I canβt talk about features or updates that havenβt been announced by EME yet.
If youβre looking for in-depth reasons for why an existing change or feature happened the way it did, save your question for TERA Senior Producer Denommenator. Weβll have him on Twitch again in the near future for another live Q&A.
I have some TERA experience, but still learning. I play every single day. I want to be the best there ever was, but Iβm not there yet so gimme a break. Hey thanks.
I made an intro thread in the TERA forums. It has photos, random facts about me, and a little bit about the tasks Iβll be performing as the TERA Community Manager (like streaming, in-game events, and talking to players to get their feedback.)
Thatβs it. Leave your questions for me and Iβll begin answering them once this thread is 1 hour old (11:00 AM Pacific Time). Iβll edit this post with updates as the day rolls on.
Special thanks to Spaghetticatt for his help during the AMA.
EDIT - To all those who contributed to this AMA, THANK YOU! I've gotten many warm welcomes in my first couple weeks. I look forward to having a lot of fun with you all. If any of you have questions or comments (or you just want to chat) in the future, feel free to message me either here or on the official TERA forums.
The last patch completely broke the game for me and others. I can't buy a car, tune a car, take a picture, etc without restarting the game all together. I hate to be that guy but I remember when a game just...worked. if they are planning on being a semi live service game then they need to have someone who is active with the community. Just to say hey we found the problem, working on it or looking into it will keep you all posted. The game is a blast when it works and it's okay to expect better.
