A list of puns related to "Community Manager Appreciation Day"
Whatever you may think about Fallout 76 and the choices the developers, programmers, engineers, designers etc make about this game, we have some great CMs u/Ladydevann u/Valseek u/BethesdaGameStudios_ comb through all our bulls**t to respond to the actionable stuff and relay "Feedback" πππ€£
But for real, they are heroes for dealing with all our manic posts.
Thank yous Devann, Jurassica, Valseek, Jessacapade
Obviously I'm a little late, and can't offer much more than well wishes, but I hope you had a good day u/Magyst!
Managing a passionate community like Destiny's is no simple task. DTG can be a salty place on occasion, and we aren't always thrilled with the state of the game. These guys are usually the first ones to hear it.
"We're listening" and "we've passed along your feedback" have become a bit of a meme these days, but I know you guys work hard and want the game to succeed just as much as we do.
Thank you guys for listening, reporting our feedback, and for the long hours you spend toiling in the salt mine. This community wouldn't be the same without you.
Edit: Thanks for the awards fam but give them to the guys instead. PS dmg and cozmo if you read this please tell the devs to fix sentinel hit registration <3
Happy Monday mods!
It just so turns out today has been designated as Community Manager Appreciation Day. Weβd like to take a moment to thank each and every one of you who care and nurture your communities. Whether youβre dealing with trolls or spammers, explaining your communityβs rules, or just helping a new user figure out how to post, you moderators are the lifeblood of Reddit and we wouldnβt be here without you!
In this thread, take a second to revel in your most deserved praise, and give a few of your fellow mods a pat on the back too. If you would like to share some of your most memorable moments from your moderation experience, weβd love to hear those stories in this thread as well.
Thank you for everything you do!
Love,
The Reddit Admins

So this is a day late in their timezone, but... it's the thought that counts?
:(
Today we take a moment to recognize and celebrate the people who create and support a community intent on changing the world.

As noted here, my title. And I of course, immidiately thought of Deej. :) This sub has gone to crap recently because of glitches and people expecting the game to be more MMO than yearly AAA FPS, and I'm sure Deej and Bungie in general are also more stressed.
Thank you Deej. Thank you for the fireplace Mail readings. Thank you for gushing info when you can. Thank you for being you (I dunno, the kind of person you are seems really cool).
I dunno, maybe I'm alone.
Thank you to all of the community managers we have here to support us. Not only them, but the other jmods who take their time to read our posts and reply to us as well. Big thanks to Shauny especially for being the front line! Happy birthday as well Shauny!

So I read somewhere that today is Community Manager Appreciation day (4th Monday of January).
So in light of that, lets give some appreciation to u/UbiKeeba Thanks for doing what you do, even though we don't always make it easy! Props!
Just learnt from the Rainbow 6 sub that today is a day where we show our appreciation for the Io team, specifically people like Travis (also Torben really) who's active on the sub and HMF.

Through all this shit thats being given to DE, i fully believe that Warframe has the best Community Mangers. Weekly streams showing off new content, addressing the complaints that the community share. Even so far as a reddit post made about a certain bug, and then being fixed in a hotfix a few hours later. How many other devs can say they take the criticism head on and just flat out say "No, we wont change it just because some people want it" DE is in my opinion the absolute best developer team out there right now, daring to take risk and changing things up in their game. And then reading and listening to the problems instead of going completely silent. No matter how "bad" each patch is according to all these reddit post, i will always love what they do with the game, and i feel a lot more of you need to appreciate what these people do for the community.
P.S I am not very good at making reddit posts like this.
(also thanks to our past Community Managers, Escoblades, UbiJohkr, and the one and only Gabe Graziani!)
We're excited to see where you all lead us in the future of Assassin's Creed!
It's Community Manager Appreciation Day! Kudos to our community manager who will be sending out keys next week to everyone who has signed up to participate in our open beta. If you haven't signed up yet... SIGN UP NOW!
I get it's cool to trash the devs and the community managers because you found a bug in the brand new map but seriously i can't imagine what the state of the game would be if they didn't go out of their way to actually collect bug reports actively, but they could use with a bit more community feedback communication
Oops, meant to post on Discord.
Just kidding. Andy and Nicole, I hope you are alright. We miss you. Maybe there isn't much to say or do in this calm before the "Season 2" storm, but it would be nice to have you around more often. If anything, imagine your neighbour was going on vacation and they had an ornery cat that you had to check on twice a day. Except this subreddit is your ornery cat and you're not on vacation. Meow.
This week a new manager joined my team. The manager immediately started making drastic changes that are often very small, completely unneeded or are in opposition to the corporate procedure. While the manager actively asks us for feedback about the changes the manager immediately rejects any critical feedback or requests to go back to the old procedures. As you can guess team morale has greatly fallen. I have been trying to endure this with the assumption that this is the new manager's nerves and soon will the nerves will settle down.
But yesterday was employee appreciation day. Corporate sends food and gives us holiday pay and does not allow us to have any business meetings or meet with clients. The only call we take is a quarterly review and update with headquarters. People came into work for the first time all week happy and energized. Normally employees spend the day eating and talking and unwinding. But not my team. We spent employee appreciation day moving our monitors, keyboards, as well as furniture to more "optimal" positions. Whenever anyone attempted to have a personal conversation the manager redirected us to work-related conversations. As a result, we spent most of the day in silence moving furniture. The team felt anything but appreciated and morale is now at an all-time low. To make things even worse corporate is allowing those of us in the physical office to wear jeans. The manager said they are too noisy so we can't wear them.
What should I do? Should I reach out to regional management about this work situation? Try to talk to her one on one despite how inflexible and unopen to feedback the manger has been? Reach out to HR for a mediation? Or simply join my colleges who are requesting references from each other and jump ship?
Edit: This is a throwaway account. Also, title should read employee appreciation day
