A list of puns related to "Noisier"
In bowling, you can hear a pin drop. In tennis, everyone raises a racket.
I really want to find more artists/groups where the music itself is loud/noisy/energetic but the vocals are almost a total contrast to this. The harmonies in songs like Sweetness and the soft vocals in the chorus of Lucky Denver Mint really take me to another place. I also love In Circles by SDRE in part because of the "running down" part in the chorus (I guess that is kind of strained but there's something beautiful about it). I also heard a song called Little Death by the Beths recently and I loved the vocals during the chorus. Does anyone know what else I might like if this is something I enjoy? I want something that really feels like it's aiming at your heart vocally while the instruments are raging on in the background.
EDIT: Thank you so much for the suggestions so far!! I've received a lot so it'll take a while to go through, but I appreciate it. I will say that I love shoegaze, although I haven't heard enough of it (just MBV/Slowdive/Catherine Wheel/etc). Excited to check these suggestions out soon.
Is there any way of making it less noisy without spending cash? I know nothing
Edit: guys, i think i have enough answers here. I'll do whatever and see what works
Lawn mowers. Leaf blowers. Dogs barking. Chainsaws. Power washers. Gunfire (hunting season). The ear damaging decibels of those sounds punctuating periods of silence are worse than the collective hum of of a city that creates a backdrop of white noise. Maybe the occasional ambulance or cop car - but you get that in the suburbs too.
Title basically sums up my question. Just got a new MK3S preassembled. It came with grease and Iβve read posts about packing bearings and oiling rods. Nothing in the setup manual mentioned having to do that for the assembled models. Any idea if Prusa takes care of it? The printer is much louder than I expected. That normal? Coming from an Ender with silent steppers.
Hello, I needed to change my Mainboard (v4.2.2)for the Ender 3 v2 because the stepper driver for the Y axis died. I bought a new one and installed it successfully but my stepper motors are much much noisier than with my old Mainboard.
I checked the Vref voltages and adjusted them with the values from the Marlin FAQ. Still noisy. Then I checked the Vref voltages of my old motherboard and used the same values for the new motherboard. Still loud and noisy.
Any suggestions how to get the "stock" noise or make it less noisy? Is the new Mainboard a fake? The PCB is the same.
I have an extremely skiddish hamster thatβs gets very triggered by noise and heβs in a quiet room currently. I feel that maybe itβs hampering his ability to get used to my presence when I canβt even slowly approach his cage without him running into his burrow to hide. Would moving him into a room with more ambient activity and noises help him?
When the gas engine kicks on, something seems to be knocking on my car floor.
Anyone else experienced this?
I'm talking about the compressed drums and such. The combination of experimental elements with beautiful folk music is just.... so appealing to me. I also like 22, a Million (Bon Iver) and Peasant (Richard Dawson).
I've noted that my G14 became noisier the last couple of days.
Today I decided to check how it was looking inside, not by surprise, the fans were almost blocked by dirty. I didn't notice it running hotter but was really noisier and sometimes ramping up in short bursts (maybe trying some auto clean?)
I didn't check the temps before, so, cannot tell, but now idles ~38c on a ~25c room.
People tend to think of SKZ or NCT when they use the term βnoise musicβ but ITZY is always the group that comes to mind for me. Not Shy is pretty much all noise, like somebody went into the kitchen and banged pots and pans together. Same for ICY.
Take βHellevatorβ by SKZ for example. The beginning is actually quite calm and itβs only the EDM drop during the chorus thatβs βnoisy.β Compare that to Not Shy, where as soon as it starts, all you hear is noise.
I even consider it noisier than Godβs Menu or Kick It. You get a chance to breath in these songs during the prechorus βbecause weβre one of a kindβ and the bridge βmy world...yeah,β respectively. Whereas in ITZYβs music, they never give you a chance to catch your breath. Itβs loud the entire song.
Hi,
A couple weeks ago we moved to a new apartment, and my quality of sleep has deteriorated. In particular, I am waking up a lot earlier (around 5-6am)
I think it's related to having somewhat more noise in the area. Generally, it's a quiet place, but there is a train station 100 meter near, and I hear the trains brake and stop. There are also cars passing by on the street occasionally.
Also, I think I sleep better when a window is open, but then I hear the noise more.
I tried sleep ear plugs in the past, but they annoyed and disturbed me and I was waking up at night.
What would you recommend?
So I have two cases on order for my next build, one is a little smaller at ~1.65L and the other is a little bigger at just over 2L.
I can squeeze my system (11th gen i5 and dGPU) into either but using the bigger case gives me the option of a better CPU cooler and ability to use some decent fans when deshrouding the GPU.
With the stock coolers on both I avoid thermal throttling, but only just (upper 90s for CPU with sustained CB20 64W load) and 70-80 for the GPU under heavy gaming. With both fans being audible from 10' away (this was in a quiet room, in reality this will be wall mounted behind the TV for emulation gaming so not sure how much of a factor noise is). I'd imagine with the bigger case the GPU would be in the low 60s and close to silent (based on some initial deshoud tests) and the CPU should be similar.
What would you guys do? The ultimate smallest build or increase the volume about 15-20% to have much improved thermals/noise?
Weird question: Changed a pickup on my tele, plugged it in the amp after setting just one string to make sure everything worked, it's very noisy, almost like if I hadn't connected ground (I did connect it). Can that be because only one string is set? Or should I undo everything before continuing to install strings?
its the biggest frustration I endure day by day, people's phones and gadgets just buzzing and hissing nonstop, dogs whining-barking-whatever, some dumb repetitive music somewhere, and apparently it only bothers me? people say its normal and I should get used to it? how?
I feel stressed out just thinking I might start hearing something annoying at this point, jeez
now I kinda understand why rich people get stupidly big houses, every neighbor ends up like half a square away
