Just finished watching the Newsies Broadway recording on Disney+ and I think I'm in love with every single newsie. I'm in complete awe of their incredible talent. I never knew people could even dance like that and that for two whole hours. First I was a bit hesitant about the premise of the musical (but to be honest, I have that with a lot of musicals if you think about it, many musical story lines are quite random/absurd) but now I'm totally into it. I always thought tap dancing to be a bit lame, but no more, going to sign up for some classes asap haha.
Trying to compile a list of all the former Newsies, OG cast and otherwise, for my own personal satisfaction, and so the fun fact I pull out at parties is accurate.
So far I count seven: Kyle Coffman, Ben Cook, Mike Faist, John Michael Fiumara, David Guzman, Jacob Guzman, Jess LeProtto

Hello! I was wondering if anyone had built their own printing press for Newsies and how they went about it. We have our production in April and have everything else we need except for it. It doesnβt have to be built if someone knows where we might be able to rent one as well?

Hey Columbus folks, Today is the 114th annual Charity Newsies paper sale. For those of you who do not know, the Newsies' mission is to provide school clothes to needy children in Franklin County. 100% of what we collect is spent on clothes for children.
It takes ~$150 to clothe one child and for the 2019-2020 school year, we clothed over 13,000 children. If you would like to contribute, we make it really easy for you to help.
The paper sale is our highest visibility event, and in addition to giving whatever you can (seriously, I take maybe 50 handfuls of car change each year) we would appreciate you spreading the word about what we do and how to help. Columbus is rapidly growing and we know that lots of people do not know about us or what we do.
