Congratulations to Eddaket who ended the whole event with a great Pokémon Shield + DLC run!
Awesome Games Done Quick (AGDQ 2021) dates are January 3rd - January 10th!
(No location has been announced yet due to Covid-19)
Also, sorry I've been away this event (most people know me as the stats man that posts each year!)We all also have our lives outside of gaming!
I don't want to go into all the details, but KLM had originally cancelled a flight in March due to Covid and was trying basically all tricks in the book to avoid reimbursing me. I finally got my money back a month ago, after countless email exchanges, telephone calls and people intentionally (or out of sheer stupidity) fucking up the reimbursement ticket.
Long story short, for ~230 EUR, KLM turned me from a very happy Flying Blue Gold member into someone who will avoid the airline at all costs in the future. Great job there.
So anyways this left me wondering what to do with my miles since I really did not want to fly "blue" again, and I also didn't want to reward them for pissing me off. Luckily, the flying blue website has a donation page which makes it easy to donate to organisations registered there. So all my 82054 miles are now transferred to Médecins sans Frontières, and I understand that is a bit over 2000 EUR worth of money, so I hope they will turn that into something good :)
WELL DONE EVERYONE :D! WORLD RECORD!!!!!!

Hi everyone!
Just another reminder, we have one week left of the AskReddit 10th Anniversary T-shirt fundraiser. So far we have managed to raise $2,450 for Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) International thanks to 238 supporters from the community!!
We wanted to remind you that you can donate without purchasing a product to support the cause. Just click on the Buy/Donate button and select Donate Only.
Here is the link for our T-shirt products
Another reminder, we also have 3 additional products featuring a different design:
A Tote Bag (only need to sell 1 more to print we reached the minimum!)
A Blanket (9 7 more to print)
and A Trucker Hat (6 more to print)
Lastly, we were able to get some advanced printings of the designs thanks to CustomInk, so if you're wondering how they will look printed here they are:
Hanes Nano Pullover Hoodie and close up of design
Medium Gusseted Midweight 100% Cotton Canvas Tote and close up of design
This fundraiser will be going on until February 12th, so you have until then to get one of these products or throw a couple of bucks towards a really good cause. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask.
