In recent times, the city police have gone overboard in arresting and witch hunting cyber criminals particularly those who are indulged in hate mongering .
After the bulli bai arrests, they have even arrested the youths involved in the Clubhouse chat involving derogatory comments towards a women of certain community.
Past year also, in the SSR fiasco many such arrests have made by the police , they even went to Gurgaon, Kolkata to arrest these hate mongerers.
For sure, Congress is not in a position to influence the city police ,it can be either Shivsena or NCP or both .
Well, it is certainly commendable act by our police , but I think going overboard in such petty cases involves a expenditure to state chequer.
I am interested to know what is the whole sole purpose behind all this ??

I have been living on rent in Navi Mumbai for 10+ years now. I'm living in my current rental for 2 years now. My last rent agreement ended in Sept but I was not in town (because of covid I stayed with my grandparents) & so we didn't renew it right away.
I signed the lease in November but due to the owner not being available it got pushed till Jan 2022. So my lease right from starts from Sept 2021 & is notarised & everything.
But the police are not giving me the NOC saying it's been 5 months & I should've done it earlier. Not to mention the guy was super super rude borderline abusive. He denied me NOC while watching a movie/video on his phone & I guess I was disturbing him. Had to wait about an hour even tho I was on time they mentioned they're open to doing NOC.
They said to change the date of the Agreement to start from Jan but that will be a gap in my rent agreement.
And now society is asking me to submit the rent agreement along with NOC. What I'm supposed to do?
I cannot have a gap in my rent agreement because my parents plan to get a passport & I know they while verification they ask you why there was a gap & where were you/proof of that & shit like that.

Actually why do they even need to sneak into the apartment complex? TP talks to someone from Tenet on the phone - wouldn't they know Priya from Tenet and just let TP meet her with no big break and enter sequence?
If movies and the media are to be believed then the cops in Mumbai lead very interesting lives. I am sure there is no smoke without a fire but I want to also give respect where it is due. A small handful of men and women have to control a city of close to 1.4 crore people. If you think your job.sucks imagine what it's like to be a havaldar in Mumbai... rains, religious festivals, new year's eve, politicians, actors, VIPs, criminals, domestic issues, drugs, traffic issues, and then normal people with their normal life problems.... They do not get a break. All for a salary that would make any normal person quit their job in two months. Despite all of this, two things have happened every time I have visited a police station. A) I have been treated fairly and even when the matter was not resolved, the explanation given seemed fair. B) I saw the absurd cases that constantly flow in and become their problem. Look I get that bribes are a part of most Asian countries and India is happy to be counted in that group. I also am sure that a lot of people here must have had a bad interaction with some cop... But! If I was in their shoes, I would have quit long ago. Mujhse nahi hoga aur koi aur kar raha hain toh usko mera salaam !
