Now that the five original bands have had their respective collaborations, it's time for some wishful speculation on the (hopefully) inevitable collabs for the two newcomers.
Honestly, this is mostly to share my morning daydream of a Morfonica x Death End Re;Quest collab. And yes, this mostly originated from the fact series protag Shina Ninomiya's avatar looks just like an older Mashiro, but the more I thought about it the more fitting it seemed. I'd love to see Nanami as Rotty, Rui as Mai, Touko as Celica, and Tsukushi as Lily.
Then there's the game's bug companions, which would incorporate well with Morfonica's butterfly motif. I also think the first game's main theme of fixing a broken world to restore it as a place of escapism fits well with Morfonica's music and could be incorporated into a more grounded story like Craft Egg tends to do with these. Would probably be Nanami focused, what with the series' love of urban legends and generally spooky atmosphere.
That just leaves the music. While I've been vocal on here a few times about wanting to see the first game's OP"Caligula Syndrome" covered by Roselia, I'd be willing to hear what Morfonica's version would be like. Plus, I can totally see Morfonica doing their own take on the sequel's OP "Bug Fixer."
Now, is it far too dark and/or obscure to actually happen? Of course, but this isn't a thread for realism (unless you want it to be).
I personally don't have any particularly strong ideas for RAS' collab, so I'm excited to hear what other people want to see.
